I just want to say that I don’t see anything wrong with what this little girl is doing. I live in the U.S and when I was growing up, I did the same things as this little girl and more. I lived in the rural area of the U.S. Much like what you call a village. We worked very hard, but there was no shame in hard work. It taught me responsibilities and kept me out of trouble. Some kids today have too much time on their hands, they are spoiled. They do not know how to be self sufficient. They have machine that does everything for them, wash the clothes, sweep the floor, wash the dishes make the fire. Because they have everything being done for them they have nothing industrious to do but play video games and watch television. Today some kids are out there doing bad things, like stealing and killing at a young age. The Bible encourages hard work. at Ecclesiastes 5:18 Ecclesiastes 3:13, Ecclesiastes 2:4.10, 24. Proverbs 16:26. I know I am a better person today because I was and am like that little girl. Hard work is good for children, it was for me and I don’t regret it. And I raised my children to work hard at whatever they do. They have chores just like this little girl. They learned to wash dishes , and clothes by hand, to work in the garden. They are grateful , because they learned to be self sufficient, and not look for everything to be given to them. That is what is wrong with many of our children today. They don’t know how to do a hard days work.
As the second born in my family, I experienced the hardest life in my childhood. I used to fetch firewood from the forest, fetch water from the river, make lunch and dinner, and look after the goats, garden was still waiting for me. my mom had another duty to provide us with a daily meal. and now thank to God that I can manage the entire house by myself. it's the hardest life but education is more than what we learn in schools. God bless this little girl.

I remember I use work like this and no body to complain to. Her place of clean up is small, hauled water is short. Today, I'm a full grown and strong woman; nothing is hard for me to do in my home, even when I go out I work like I'm in charge. She will appreciate it when she grows up, I'm a witness.

By copying western culture ,girls as old as ten years are considered children.They cannot make their beds or prepare breakfast for themselves .They become difficult to live with.This girl can live anywhere in the world. Although this may seem cruel to some, this little girl has a mother, a home and food. A lot of kids don't have that in Africa. Your English is perfect. You should be very proud of it. It is one of the hardest languages to learn.

Many people that speak it don't realize that nor do many know that because it is their first or only language of course. Well, when you said, "let's play over the food", I did giggle a bit, lol. We don't want to play over the food, no no, but I know you meant "pray" over the food. And to answer many of your questions, I wash my clothes in a washing machine, dry them in a dryer, and do most of my dishes and utensils in a dish washing machine, don't tell that one to my mother, she would freak out. Yes, America has made us lazy. Technology is good and bad. This video was refreshing to watch. I think this is wonderful . I live in U.S.A and people who live on farms also teach their young children to help with the work. The girls learn to cook at a young age such as 8. I know an 11 year old girl who can cook dinner for her big family. Farmer children, such as this little girl are much more responsible. I sure she has fun during the day too. Most people here will pull their sheets up after getting up & their blankets too to make the bed look nice. I think you call the sheets, crosses. Here they are cleaned about once a week. We have 2 machines I'm the house. One is for washing all clothes & crosses. The other machine Is a dryer to dry the washed items. Some of us, including me still hang our clothes & crosses on a clothes line to dry. You hang them on wires. Here people who live in the city eat breakfast before any house work. Some don't eat breakfast. Farmers work before breakfast while the ladies cook breakfast. Then after breakfast the farmers work on the farm or some have a job. Women do housework & gardening & often help take care if farm animals. We usually wash our cups & utensils, cooking pans, after dinner at night so we wake up to them being cleaned. We cook our food inside on a stove. I am impressed with the healthy breakfast she made. I have been camping which is living in a tent at a camp ground . There we cook outside. God bless you. It really breaks my heart , this little girl takes on so much responsibility at 8 years old and my 38 years old son complains because I ask him to take out the garbage. I have hand washed many loads of laundry in my life. I am blessed now to have a washing machine. This little girl is a true blessing to her family.

This is quite a revelation for me. This little child has to do so much yet she remains very positive and is happy. I love how she opened up to us at the end and her beautiful face lit up and shined! When she opened her arms and sent love I could feel it! I remember being a very young mom and washing my clothes in the bathtub. I’d put all the baby clothes and diapers in and I’d use my feet to rub and scrub those clothes. Then turn on the water to rinse. And twist and ring out the water. Then hang the clothes on rope that was hung in my kitchen. Now I have a washing machine. I am very blessed. I just subscribed. I am humbled to see this precious girl making her bed of rags. I've watched a few of your videos. My church has a member who started an orphanage in Ghana. Although this may seem cruel to some, this little girl has a mother, a home and food. A lot of kids don't have that in Africa. Your English is perfect. You should be very proud of it. It is one of the hardest languages to learn.

Her mother must have sold her daughter . And again it's unfortunate that she has to be a girl. If he was a boy he would be sitting somewhere around, enjoying sunshine. But this is clearly expected of her to do, as this lady explains, and by the time she is 18 years, she'd have 4 or 6 children. I am very cross ☹️😡

Many people that speak it don't realize that nor do many know that because it is their first or only language of course. Well, when you said, "let's play over the food", I did giggle a bit, lol. We don't want to play over the food, no no, but I know you meant "pray" over the food. And to answer many of your questions, I wash my clothes in a washing machine, dry them in a dryer, and do most of my dishes and utensils in a dish washing machine, don't tell that one to my mother, she would freak out. Yes, America has made us lazy. Technology is good and bad. This video was refreshing to watch. It teaches responsibility, skills, etc. I saved this to a newly made playlist for these types of videos only to show my children. I have 5 of them. 4 girls, and 1 boy. I think this is wonderful . I live in U.S.A and people who live on farms also teach their young children to help with the work. The girls learn to cook at a young age such as 8. I know an 11 year old girl who can cook dinner for her big family. Farmer children, such as this little girl are much more responsible. I sure she has fun during the day too. Most people here will pull their sheets up after getting up & their blankets too to make the bed look nice. I think you call the sheets, crosses. Here they are cleaned about once a week. We have 2 machines I'm the house. One is for washing all clothes & crosses. The other machine Is a dryer to dry the washed items. Some of us, including me still hang our clothes & crosses on a clothes line to dry. You hang them on wires. Here people who live in the city eat breakfast before any house work. Some don't eat breakfast. Farmers work before breakfast while the ladies cook breakfast. Then after breakfast the farmers work on the farm or some have a job. Women do housework & gardening & often help take care if farm animals. We usually wash our cups & utensils, cooking pans, after dinner at night so we wake up to them being cleaned. We cook our food inside on a stove. I am impressed with the healthy breakfast she made. I have been camping which is living in a tent at a camp ground . There we cook outside. God bless you. I hope she had a good rest of the day & I hope she got to spend some time playing .

I remember being a very young mom and washing my clothes in the bathtub.
I’d put all the baby clothes and diapers in and I’d use my feet to rub and scrub those clothes. Then turn on the water to rinse. And twist and ring out the water. Then hang the clothes on rope that was hung in my kitchen.
Now I have a washing machine. I am very blessed.
