Any night gigging areas for flounder around here or are our rivers too muddy?
I’ve never tried but I know a lot of people do it. I think you can.
What is the trick to catching bull reds in Charleston? Do you primarily bottom fish and do you use artificial or live bait?
I use all 3 but it depends on the time of year. Right now I’m fishing the bottom with live or cut bait. Finding them is the challenge, once you have a spot or two then it’s just fishing a few times.

There’s tons of bait in the water right now and it’s hot. The artificial bite won’t be good until it cools down some.
