This is actually the most listened to Taylor Swift song on Spotify and the second most listened to Zayn song, it was a big hit.. Actually find it quite sad because I'm not sure Zayn actually want's to do these music videos or at least feel comfortable doing them, but at the end of the day he is sort of obligated to do it because of contracts with record labels etc. I feel like you would like songs like Tightrope, There You Are and Good Years, they are my favorites :)

It's Taylor most listned song on Spotify because that's the only song that existed in her profile. She was removing her catalogue for quite some time. But anyway this is still a great song. Like Taylor usually collab with deep voice male singers, but this is one is unique. From the behind the scene, Zayn actually looked comfortable. I mean Taylor is not a stranger to him. She dated his ex band mates. And Gigi is one of Taylor's best friend and that time Zayn was madly in love with Gigi. For sure they were hangout a lot.

well, I wouldn't be surprised if she did Taylor's version of this and put it as a reputation vault track or released it as a single again, as she did with Safe and Sound and Eyes Open for example. I am not sure how it's with the rights to this song, wikipedia says that the label is Republic Records where Taylor is signed now, but Spotify says that it's Big Machine, so idk. But Better Man is also not Big Machine and Taylor made a TV so who knows. Also we don't know if she was to release a TV of this song, if she's doing it with Zayn again, or alone. She did Safe and Sound with those people as before, but on Babe, which she gave Sugarland and she's featured on it, she did on her own. And maybe that's because Sugarland is under Big Machine and I am not a lawyer, so I don not know how this works, like maybe if Sugarland sung on it, Big Machine would automatically get something, I really don't know, but I am excited to see what Taylor does with this.

Backstreet Boys and N’Sync were at their peak when I was in elementary school. But if I remember correctly, 1Direction didn’t surface until I had already graduated high school. My sister is 4 years younger than me & she was obsessed with them. So I guess I just missed the 1D fever haha. I’m 31 now btw. K-pop makes me feel so out of touch. And my brother is 19…spending time with him makes me feel so ancient…lol he calls me a boomer.

Hilarious as always. I must admit I haven't been exposed to Ryan's style of humor since middle school, but Nathan provides a nice sobering balance so it doesn't become unpalatable. I actually really like this song; if Taylor writes it and sings it, it's a pretty safe bet I will like it. But, it was also my first introduction to Zayn's vocals and I was quite impressed with his range and sound. I don't blame him if he isn't a great actor in the video, because he isn't an actor. We all know Taylor is an amazing performer and has years of experience doing videos, so it's not really fair to compare them. As for the chemistry, they filmed the video separately due to their schedules so they weren't even in the same room. It probably didn't help that he was in a relationship with (and eventually had a child with) one of her best friends, Gigi.

I am so sorry but I didn't know a singer has always to be a great actor too. Like dudes, he is one of the great singer in the world and I agree this may not be the best music video out there but the song is a masterpiece.
I actually love when people give honest reactions, that is how I discovered this channel. But it is clear that you guys does not appreciate zayn at all. I wouldn’t say flop, I’m a Zayn’s fan but I feel like his way of singing and his music might not suit everyone’s liking. And their point were actually pretty accurate, compared to Taylor he wasn’t very charming at expressing his emotions during songs. And as we all know we haven’t seen that many live performances of Zayn, from what I’ve seen it was pretty steady and quiet, not much happening. Also from his songs most of them are just a vibe, ofc some of them has pretty deep lyrics and meaning but I couldn’t imagine him singing those songs live.. I couldn’t imagine what he’d do and how he’d do it. If we’re comparing them to Liam, Harry, and Louis, there r all like to jump around and entertain the crowd, idk abt Zayn. But I do hope he’ll make a world tour for us.

As someone who has been singing most of my life and studied music, the worst way to reach a high note is to lift your head.
And opening mouth wider or not is fairy irrelevant to how high or loud you can be.
Accurate singing actually looks a bit silly because the aims are to maximise the space in your head so that you aren't singing to through your nose. So singers often have to constantly lift their cheekbones to open up space in the sinuses for sound to reverberate properly and to stay in tune.
You also have to stand in a strange way to strengthen your core and control your diaphragm so you can provide maximum oxygen to the lungs.
It's really poor form if a singer sining high lifts their head or if a singer singing low drops their head.
I don't like Zayn and I'm not a big fan of Taylor, but this song was a big hit for a reason. They were amazing together and it was perfect for the movie.
Zayn is stiff, he even refused to dance on X factor, he’s shy, quiet, doesn’t really show much, not that great at acting i guess. I love his musics it’s a vibe but on some songs it has some pretty deep lyrics. I’m not sure if he’s a great performer live, like Harry as we all could see is a magnificent performer. honestly as a Zayn fan we haven’t seen many.. he didn’t like being out there yk so we haven’t gotten fed with live performances. Agree. Nothing special about this song, but it was written/structured according to the movie. Taylor actually performed this live acoustically during the AT&T Saturday Night show in Houston in 2016. Zayn has different technique to sing as he is also trained in eastern way of singing and is also influenced by Indian subcontinent singing techniques. That is why you can't understand why he sang high withiut physically moving his throat. He sings better live but is not good with cameras.
