Love this message. Adding; it will also take us, as His children & household, an eternity to fully thank, praise, and worship God for all that He has done. ❤
Thanks Pastor Skip - David's kindness reflected in chapters 9 and 10 contrasts sharply with his words in Psalm 139:19-22 towards the "enemies of God". This raises the question of how we as believers should feel towards those who say vile and wicked things about God and Christ. Nowadays some utterly vile things are coming from the mouths of unbelievers. Jesus said to love your enemies, but He also said that if they do not receive your words to turn away from them and shake the dust from your feet. It's becoming very difficult to even have a civil discussion with many nonbelievers- especially younger ones. In many cases it devolves into outright hostility. I have to constantly remind myself that all we can really do is spread the seed - recognizing that most of it will fall on the wayside or in the weeds. God has to do the "drawing" and what Tozer called the work of prevenient grace. God bless.
I promise to be kind - a promise, a covenant to be kind. Que no? Being good because it's the right thing to do point blank; it becomes instantaneous to forgive oneself and show Chesed the ultimate promise not to be unkind but kind like Olivia de Havilland in Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
Thank you so much !! , that was amazing bible study.
So grateful for sound doctrine in these last days
