    Sorry this is up so late...I had some issues with TH-cam uploading...better late than never !! Today I am sharing a lunch idea with you...this is a wrap/taco that I have been eating for the last 3-4 months...you can change this up and create MANY different MACRO friendly lunches. Remember PROTEIN is the most important of all your Macros...I concentrate on Protein and Fiber...the fats and carbs fall into place. It is also OK to eat more than 30 grams of protein in one meal...it is a MYTH that our bodies cannot absorb more at each meal...If you are healthy individual who does NOT have an existing kidney problem...it is OK...ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE DOING ANY THING if you have an EXISTING HEALTH Issue. ENJOY. I have lost a total of 36 lbs counting Macros...I eat all the foods I love, I am NOT afraid of CARBS...foods are not making us OBESE....CALORIES ARE...as we age protein becomes the most important macro for muscle mass...muscle is important for healthy aging and longevity.....It is not about being skinny or fat...it is about being HEALTHY

    I love the cheese in the pan for crispy tortilla!!! If you have an air fryer, I spray both sides of a tortilla with crisco brand butter flavored spray, then put it In air fryer for around 2 to 3 minutes each side🤤depending what I’m eating with it you can sprinkle garlic powder and salt It will brown and be so crispy! Sometimes I take a pizza cutter and make triangles for chips so the same thing! It’s so satisfying! I do use the Mission brand low carb! ❤

    Yay!!! I was so hoping that (between makeup videos) you would do more of what you eat in a day ones. You inspired me to try your way of eating (I'm 69) and have effortlessly lost 11 pounds already🙌🏻You're spot on - no deprivation, just so much more awareness of how much I was eating before (I didn't think I was LOL).     Great tip on adding cheese to the frying pan before the egg wrap. I’ve never been able to get my egg wraps crispy and this does the trick.

    Never heard of an egg wrap. That's genius and looks so good as you fixed it. I like eating the same thing everyday too so can't wait to try. I don't even bother with a paper plate at lunch, just put what I'm eating on a paper towel and then it serves two purposes and less waste. No judgement, nothing against paper plates, just a suggestion :) When I do use a paper plate for something that's not too messy, I'll actually rinse it off and use again.

      Oh I reuse paper plates all the time...what most don't realize is that many are biodegradable...

    I needed this. I'm just trying to lose 5 lbs, but it's been a struggle. I'm 68 and the lbs don't drop off easily. This will be a great lunch for me. I don't always get enough protein. Looking forward to your other videos.

      I can't believe I finally found someone in the exact same situation: 67 yrs old, 5 lbs. to lose & struggling. Guidance for this is nil; but I don't want to keep creeping up. I've been 118 since my twenties, and I made peace with 120 a few years ago. Now at 125 my clothes don't fit, etc. Even doctor is dismissive, but I think I'm slowly piecing together a plan.

    I eat la banderita tortillas, not too bad just a bit to dry but it’s not bad. That looks so good, I will have to try that, and I’ve been eating a taco salad or burrito for the last two month, I don’t get tired of it.

    I love counting macros! However I just had surgery on my tongue so I am only eating soft food and not a lot. I weighed and I have now lost 10 pounds but partly because I am not eating much. I had lost 5 before the surgery and I hope to start eating my macros soon! This looked soo good and easy. Thanks for sharing. 😊

    Hi Tammy, I just re watched your playlist on weight loss, in the one that you went over macros and went over a very helpful website (that looks like a great website!) You mentioned that at that time you had lost 21 lbs (this was 5 months ago) and that you were going to soon head into maintenance. I was wondering if now that you have lost 35 lbs if you are in maitenance now. How have you flipped from a weight loss progran to maintenace, if you are in maintenance.
    I make something simialr to your wrap and I also use my fitness pal! (Love this app, although I did have to finally move from my old BlackBerry to an iphone as I could no longer get the app on my old BlackBerry 😅). I have lost about 80lbs but still have about 50 more to go. I've stalled for a while but am begining to feel more motivated to make some changes and get it kick started again :) i've tried carnivore a few times, my body just does not like this diet/ way of eating. I strongly believe that our bodies are all unique (with lots of thing in common) and we will all find that "it" that really works for our bodies. When you land on it, the weight will come off and you will start to feel so much better. I went from needing 2 injections of insulin a day, + one more diabetic medicine to no meds at all and am managing my diabetes with stricly diet, very low exercise due to some physical injuries I have to let heal before I can do much of anything except a slow walk around the mall.
    Thank you for sharing all of your amazing knowledge you've gain over the years on nutrion and health/wellness :)

      I am confused. I have watched Tammy's video on macros multiple times. I have gone to Legions to work out the TDEE and the macros ratios. I have plugged all the necessary info. into the chronometer calculator. I tried for over 2 mths with little to no results. I ate at a 500-calorie deficit on a high protein diet. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong 😞. I need someone to check me. Can I DM u Mrs. Tammy for help? I really want this work. I can type out the info, too, if someone can help me figure it out. I even went to the doctor and did labs to see if all was okay. I take no meds. All blood work looks good, a little high on cholesterol, but the good cholesterol one (LDL) is very low, so he said they cancel each other out. I still want to work on lowering the HDL. I asked him to see if he could recommend a diet for weight loss or help me figure out my macros. He said forget nutrition, just move. Exercise, that's all he recommends... just walk or dance. Don't worry about what you eat (no deep fried). 😞 so I am back to square one. I don't know what to do. I am not ready to toss in the towel. I just need help.

      @@superwomaninyourdreams3465 Hey there! So i know that cutting out all processed foods for a week and sugar the scale went down and kept going down. Make sure you're putting the realistic activity you get in a day on the TDEE calculator and also count every single thing even your condiments and drinks so you get an accurate count. Aim for 10k steps in a day! Those are my best tips on what helped me the most see the scale go down!

    I like those low-carb wraps. I always keep them in the house. I’m going to try that recipe without queso. I love the Spanish cheeses and other types of cheese on my wraps and tacos. I never had a taste for queso. I might put sliced tomato or salsa.

    Love the egg white wrap idea, i can't get them where i live, but found internet recipe to make them myself. I admire your discipline with your weight loss journey. My biggest downfall is late night snacking. If i wake up in middle of night, i make my way toward my laptop with a bowl of puffed rice or flakes, and then after a while, go back to bed,any tips to overcome this?

    Oh my word! I have been gluten free for a dozen years or more. I make something similar with just cheese and chicken. But tonight I put a little cheese in the pan first, added my almond tortilla then more cheese and chicken. BAM! That cheese adding that crunch and flavor! Oh my!!!! Thank you Tammy!     Tammy love your lunch ideas and share them with others often. I’ve really increased my weights workout to 4x/wk but I’m also hearing it’s good to include VO2 max (such as sprints or cycling) 4x/wk for 10 min each. I walk 6 mi daily but I have foot troubles and sprints would stir up more problems. Just wondering your thoughts and how/if you incorporate them. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

      The sprints are not worth the problems it could create...just stay constant with your workouts and walking...You're doing yourself a lot of good!!

      I think if you can spin, that would be great. Would just need to check and see how it affects your foot. For me, I have less issues with joints with spin bc of less impact. It definitely gets your heart rate up, too! 🥵

    For your first food video you did a great job! This would be great with pork, that would make your cooking easier too! You could cook part of a boneless pork loin, slice it very thin, and even freeze in your serving sizes!

      It is the best and easiest way once you get it! I eat a variety of foods I love ...no suffering with macros

      Thank you so much Tammy! I’m going to check out this macro diet thing. I’m 57, have the bones of an 85 y/o according to Drs, have had multiple surgeries and still in chronic pain every darn day so even walking is out of the question , but with menopausal hormone deficits I’ve put on so much weight and feel just awful.
      It’s so darn hard to lose weight at this age. You’re incredibly inspiring and your honesty has always shone through like a bolt of light energy! This recipe is intriguing and lots of options to change it out to not get bored. Thank you Thank you! Cheers from Canada, stay gorgeously happy!

    Your way of eating is delicious and not boring. It goes to show that you don't have to eat only steak once a day to lose weight. You can lose weight on tasty food too and you're getting nutrients and antioxidants. You're always so smart Tammy.

    I tried this and can’t stop. I take Chili Cheese (and seriously that and the wrap are delicious on their own) and sprinkle it with Coriander and Heinz Zero Ketchup. D e l i c i o u s. Thank you 🎉

    Love these "what I ate to lose fat" videos. This wrap looks great. I'm going to try it. Please do your breakfast too. Love your summer apartment too. I'm curious....what do you eat when you travel? Did you drive from Florida to NY? If so, what do you eat on the road because you can't cook. Please share.

    I still haven’t figured out the macronutrients. I know you did a video, i watched it but didn’t get around to trying it. Im bad.. I’ve never been a good protein eater.. cant eat any sweetener other than sugar or maple syrup, limited on veggies etc.. i’m a mess..

    Maybe you could substitute the queso with some homemade hummus, I like to add smoked paprika and it’s taste wonderful

    Looks yummy!! Thanks❤ one thing I find, since I'm alone, how do you eat 1/4 or half an avocado? How do you keep it fresh? I've tried lemon juice and wraps but it still gets brown and nasty!

      I eat a half or sometimes 3/4 of it...I just put it in the fridge and eat the rest the next day...I wrap it tightly...sometimes I will put lime juice on it...the brown doesn't really bother me....
