Sounds a little like a BMW E9 3,0 Alpina Coupe with Weber carbs another car I also like soundwise is the Lamborghini Urraco P250V8 (plenty of growl) and the czech Tatra 613 aircooled (Posche and V8 sound mixed) and there is the little screamer roadster Honda S600 with that Motorbike DOHC inline 4 from the 1960s that sounds lovely too.
@@tomyangnet Smart move my friend. I have to settle rowing through the gears on my GMP 1/6 scale 250 GTO Columbo V12 model engine with simulated sound. And dream. I’ve had a few Ducatis though and now a mint Alfa GTV6. So I’m not complaining. Glad you’re preserving these great cars.
It's always fun to take the old car out for a drive, and to show people Ferraris were meant to be driven, and not just off a trailer! Thanks for watching!
Always enjoyable regardless of the weather Sunday drives in the 330 GT 2+2 were a highlight of my youth. I understand that "minor issues' take a a back seat to paying customers, but you really ought to replace that wiper motor.
@@jimurrata6785 I have had this wiper motor out on several occasions through the years, trying to save the original motor, but I think I'm at the point of simply having to replace it! Thanks for watching
@@tomyangnet When my kid was younger, she was sure the paint on my cars was going to be washed off by rain. It was hilarious how concerned she was the first time she saw one of my nice cars get rained on!
The sound of that Columbo V12 is sublime.
One of the main reasons I spent my life's savings at the time to buy one was that sound! Thanks for watching!

@@stuffhappens5681 we’re all lucky to have a car that puts a smile on your face!
Very cool.
@@Michael_Lorenson find day out for a drive despite the rain!
Looks like you had a blast Tom !

What a fantastic group of cars to rally with!
It was a good turnout despite the rain. The attendees must have all had waterproof paint on their cars!

Thanks for taking us along!! Who needs wipers anyway!! True drivers excell in "the wet". You have an amazing Ferrari!! Thanks!!
You're welcome! I would have made a longer video, but the rain kept the driving pretty boring. Thanks for watching tho!
That looked like a ton of fun! Great bunch of cars! And hey…free car wash!
They have been doing that rally for 20 years, and it brings out some pretty neat local cars. It's even more fun when it's dry!
Great mix of cars. I love the way your car looks rock steady on the road looking over the bonnet ( sorry hood ), what a fantastic view
She made me proud! It's always a good day when a Vintage Ferrari lives up to her namesake! Thanks for watching.
250/330 Lucas WIPER MOTOR 6WA is similar to Rover P6 EARLY 2000 cars you can find them in UK for 150 Pounds nos. (Early 2000 P6 only)
@@Schlipperschlopper I know the motors look the same, but they are wired differently. Mine has five wires and I’ve seen ones with 3 wires.
@@tomyangnet I would take apart one P6 motor I am sure they are just single speed wired, Ferrari had 2 speed wipers
@@Schlipperschlopper they had two speeds and a single swipe circuit for the squirter!
At least your navigator wasn’t on Facebook, texting her friends or sleeping like mine.
