Ad in excessively overweight people, tattoos, piercings, neon hair, and an overall frumpy dress, and this lady stands out like tower in the lowlands. The contrast is what's so stunning to me. She works as an office manager and receptionists and will often wear her the outfits she makes. The customers, from little children to the elderly and everyone in between love it! What a great way to stand out from the crowd. Now, in my view this applies to men as well. That is, dress a level or two above the venue you'll be spending time in. I believe it makes a difference as people are more responsive to you. Whether it's a clerk at a grocery counter, a medical professional, future economic possibilities, or even on the romantic front. She looks AWFUL the outfit looks like a costume and is embarassing. Plus she is wearing a really tacky label with the bag. Plus its really aging. And the hair looks dyed to me. It looks like what a chav's idea of a classy girl is. Plus the nails look too much and completely unnatural. And the hat looks cheap. The combo of the tacky designer bag and really cheap hat make her look awful. The ribbon on a girl that age also looks ridic. Its the combo of an outfit that really looks like its for a 50 yr old with a hairdo that looks like its for an 8 yrs for me! Can she walk down a street full of unattractive people who are not even looking their best and get looks ..sure.

Let's not just pick on the women. 40 years ago in every major city, you would see MEN dressed in suits and/or jackets and ties, shined shoes, sometimes with a hat. Now you see that only in Japan if you are lucky. Everywhere else, men dress like punks, as if they just rolled out of bed. (Women are queens in comparison.) Ball caps and tennis shoes/sneakers/trainers are the norm. For a man nowadays, "dressing up" means combing one's hair and little more. 😒👎
