Ours is amazingly wet and cool. Only a couple of really hot days. Next week they are promising heat. Ick.

Thanks Jeannie and I am very glad you like the pop ins - no-one ever mentions them!!!! x
Great finds Alexander 👍
I've found a few roman brooches including a Colchester type ... but none had the pin in them.
As you say, the finds don't have to be blingy... and that buckle is a beaut. Well saved 👏 👏👏
Thanks Gary and soory not to gte back sooner - hope all well!
Wow. That roman pin made sense of everything. I wondered how they worked. Great hunt. Thanks for taking us along
Not at all Don, thanks for joining! All the Best, Alexander
Another great video, Alexander. Was out on my permission this week and had two lovely finds. A silver penny of John of Evesnes and a rather bent Offa penny. I will be sending the Offa penny to Alan Smith of Essex Coins for restoration. Will be off to Mauritius soon for a couple of weeks, so no detecting.
I hope you have a good rest Robert, Lucky you and sorry not to have got back to you sooner!

Not at all Kevin and sorry not to have got back to you sooner! Hope all well and All the Best, Alexander
Nice bit of relics but that lead blob might be a duck billed platypus 😂
Hope your good!!!
a duck billed platypus....... of course Tim!!!!!! Thank you! 😁 😂🙏
Just wanted to say another fabulous video & I also love the HQ parts. Agree that Hattatt books are exceptional & also love finding roman fibula brooches. I wish my permissions were that lovely sandy soil, so much easier to deal with!! I'm based in Gloucestershire so am also blessed with fabulous areas to detect.
Looking forward to the next video - happy hunting 😀
I have a lot of clay too Nicola - the arable fields of Herts are TERRIBLE! Thank you for watching - its much appreciated and All the Best, Alexander
Hello from France Alex. Again, thank you to share these moments with us
Not at all Phillipe - merci a vous pour les regarder!
Some lovely finds Alex. Thank you for sharing.
Not at all Chuck - thank you for watching! 🙏
Great video, so enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great work
Thank you very much I will try!
That dress hook you found is probably Tudor, it's a fab find and in my view should be added to your list of cracking finds for the day! That type of hook was only really used up to the 1600's, it's older than you probably think. I've found a couple (including a gold one) so I know a little bit about those.
Brilliant 💯
Thanks Kaare!
G'day, Alexander. Wow another great day. Love the look of that old bronze buckle the rare one. Must feel so special finding those awesome bits of history. Good to see Tasc, hope all is well. It is starting to cool down here.✌️👍🦘🇦🇺🦘
I really love finding odd bits like that Allan - quite intriguing ... hope all well!
As always a pleasure to watch! Great finds and so jealous of the land you’re on!
Thanks CDD much appreciated !
Another enjoyable video, thankyou. The hooked clasp that you thought was Victorian is actually 17thC.I also follow Ellie's detecting channel and indeed a breath of fresh air as you mentioned,as is yours.
Thanks for that Knowledge Edward I shall now take a closer look at it! All the Best, Alexander
Great video Alex, love the fibula 🤩

You should definitely do videos showing all your fibulas and other finds.

Thank you Aidan thats much appreciated and hope all well - All the Best, Alexander
Hello Alexander,
Thanks for the many videos that you produce for us! I am often surprised my the many objects, particularly from Romans, that are found in various fields. Do you think that it was often the case, that the original owners simply lost the objects in that particular field or threw them away? Some (or a few) will indeed have been buried with the intention to return and collect them at some time in the future...
Regards Mike
Hi Mike and thanks for watching! I often wonder on the origins of these coin finds and can only think part of it is that you must rmember that the Roman s were here for the best part of 400 years so had plent of time to lose the odd thing that we find now...Hope all well and All the Best, Alexander
All very nice finds especially the Roman Brooch and coin but also some lovely buckles and also a nice thimble
Thank you Mc and hope all well!
Cool stuff today, my friend! Cheers from Ls Angeles, gonna be 91 degrees here today, almost time for the pool! hope the rest of your Sunday is a GREAT one, my friend! 🙂
Thanks Dennis and sorry not to get back sooner! Hope its cooled down a bit!
Gg mate, I see Doris is treating you nicely :)

Miss Detectorist is excellent indeed!
😁👍
Another good one Alexander. Thanks for taking us along.
Not at all Francine, and thank you for joining me! All the Best, Alexander
You need a little poking tool to help get rid of the caked soil. A cut down pointed Japanese style chop stick works for me. Once again you a on fire with your finds.
Good tip that Paul... literally too! Thank you! 😁🙏
amazing and thanks for sharing. so over the first deus? take care and rock on
Will do BC - Love "rock on"! There was a comedian over here who used to say "Rock on Tommy"! I was thinking about him only yesterday! 😁 Hope all well
Hi Alex, so interesting to see the Roman brooch intact with its pin! The copper buckle was also beautiful to me. Give head scritches to Tasci!
Will do! Thanks Tucker!
Wow what amazing finds! My favourite was the brooch with the pin intact! Great to see Tasci is in fine fettle! 😃
Thanks Belinda, he is a good if not slightly crazy hound!!!!
Well done again Alexander great finds and video ,thank you for posting.👍
Not at all Tim and hope all well with you!
What incredible land! So many interesting finds from across the centuries in one session - that fibula is just sooooo special. I loved seeing it working. Really helpful to see - thank you for sharing!
Not at all Ellie thanks for watching its much appreciated ! x
The heart thing looks reminiscent of a wolf's head to me- could it be Viking? Just my impression 😊
Yes could be... dsomeone also suggested Norman which would not be far off either... Hope all well!
well saved Alex
Thanks Dazza! And hope you are well!
I am amazed at the quality of your finds and love the research and history. Great video as always
Thank you Jesse! Hope all well and nice to hear from you!
Great finds! I once found a thousand-year-old fibula with an iron pin attached. The soil was sandy.
Good luck to you Alexander.
Good Stuff Anno! Hope all well!

Cheers Len - hope all well and nice to hear from you!
Hi Alexander, another great video with some fantastic finds. The fish shaped piece of lead looks very much like a pike. Did you manage to clean it up? Hope all I well? Neil
I havent yet AP but I will! hope all well and thanks for watching!
@@HolzHammerSagas Always a pleasure to watch Alexander. Neil
👋👋👋🍀🍀🍀
Ha! Thanks Stephan! I Hope you are well!
Bealtaine Blessings Ally xxxShaz
Thanks Shaz - you too!!!! Stay safe! XxX
it's the iron pin that makes it sound doddgy..
I dont think its iron Aking....
I'm confused about which machine you're using. In the Title and part of the description you state Deus 2. In the Equipment used section it says Deus I (lite). Which is it? 😄
Sorry thats prob my fault for not changing the description it sometimes takes me days to edit these films believe it or not; I sometimes cut corners at the end at copy and paste a bit - sorry agin - I use the 2 but oreviously the LITE 👍
@@HolzHammerSagas Awesome, I got the Lite 2 days ago after a 2 year break of not detecting. Channels like yours convinced me to get a Deus 2
Mediaeval armour for ladies fingers that are not required to wear a chastity belt.... anymore.
I know... these modern times Harry... 😁
Hi. You have been using the Deus 2 now for a while now. I would love to know what you think the main differences are compared to the Deus 1.Ive been using the mk1 for about 8 years. Thankyou.
I think the power is the obviuos difference but thats not necessarily a good thing in my opinion Geoff - I didnt like it when I ramped up the sensitivity and reactivity etc... I have it now as close to the deus 1 as i have managed and i lik e it that way - and it does punch a bit harder in pasture.
Money 2 money
First
If you’re first what did you like about the video?
@@shooterjohn7163 perhaps nothing .... 🥲
Hi Alexander, what a nice detecting adventure. Very nice fibula because it still has the pin. That heart shaped item missing the opposite side I’m sure is very old. The little buckle is definitely a keeper. So enjoy the effort that you put into your videos… John
Thanks Mac
@@HolzHammerSagasNo i’m sure i will i was 5 minutes in and had to go help my neighbour with something
Thanks for the video. I've just subscribed to @miss_detectorist
