@@stevenzagony6187 I got a new idler wheel and polished the motor pulley that it engages. I’m looking to get a Derlin pad to sit at the end of the platter shaft or replace the ball bearing in the grub screw with Derlin. The motor makes a whining/humming sound that is perceptible within a foot of the TT. I added some cork to the bottom of the plinth and some thick foam. That has helped with vibration as well. These things (idler decks)are a pain in the ass but when you get things right, they sound really nice!
I love it, it looks like it has the gear shifter out of a car, industrial stuff indeed :D
