Acting in Succession is superior. Industry is good but it does not rise to the level of Succession that will be considered as one of the best shows ever.
I think Succession is a little bit more superior, it’s definitely the prototype. Industry is definitely the son of Succession. Both are super smart shows in the writing.
WRONG. Succession is a show about dumb people who are ignorant of their lack of capabilities being, well, dumb. It's tiring and frankly a bit trite. Industry is a WELL WRITTEN, WELL ACTED, WELL EXECUTED show about competent people competing against competent people. And let's be honest, who on Succession has the on screen gravitas of Eric Tao?
@@blackdateline1996 Succession has very little theme overlap with Industry and they're worlds apart in terms of writing. You have the taste and intellectual capacity of a sewer rat.
Industry is like succession and billions put together. It has succession style cinematography but Billions level drama. Succession was made to look very natural flat and boring which means you need a deeper understanding of the Murdoch family to really get into it. Overrated? lol hell no…
I hated Succession. I think the acting was passable, but the writing was horrible. Like, dangerously horrible. The themes of Industry are stronger and more varied. The first episode of Succession had a glimmer of what it could be with the poor kid being given the watch by Roman, then it never touched on those themes again. It was just four seasons of rich world porn, and it didn't address the idea that this was supposed to be a Fox News comparison until the very end of its final season. So, no, I think it was nothing but misses and bad writing.
Shit take. Industry has literally no charming characters on screen. And no, the writing isn't nearly as good. I don't know what people are smoking here. Enjoy your knock-off I guess.
the thing is these are 2 almost completely different shows. one is one people working in a system the other is about rich people wanting to
be richer

I have succession ranked high on my list too
Lol, nobody in Succession acts as well as Ken Leung.
What’s wrong with Eric in episode 6 (season 3) when he tries to get with Yasmin at the restaurant table?!?! Eric is sick!!
Yeah, that was a wild scene
Why compare? One is apples the other oranges. You can like both or like one of them.

Simple answer: no chance
Correct, because Industry is FAR SUPERIOR in the first place.

Ohh wow, interesting. Good breakdown of your view
@@thecoldpoet based. Only man of taste here.
You hit the nail on the head. Succession is definitely overrated and not close to the character building or overall writing of Industry.
