- Hello all! I will be making a separate 3 year anniversary thank you video, so stay tuned for that. In the mean time, I hope you guys enjoy this comfy and cozy edit of JAL's (Japan Air Lines) Boeing 747! Wanted to make something more civil oriented and relaxed for this 3 year celebration, and I sure hope you guys enjoy it! As for the ANA (All Nippon Airways) and DC-8 fans (as well as other airliners!), stay tuned, as I will be started a video line on airline aesthetics as well. As always, thank you for the nearly 5,000 subscribers after 3 years of doing this, God bless, and have a good one!
The Boeing 747 is a large, long-range wide-body airliner designed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes in the United States between 1968 and 2023. After introducing the 707 in October 1958, Pan Am wanted a jet 2+1⁄2 times its size, to reduce its seat cost by 30%. In 1965, Joe Sutter left the 737 development program to design the 747, the first twin-aisle airliner. In April 1966, Pan Am ordered 25 Boeing 747-100 aircraft, and in late 1966, Pratt & Whitney agreed to develop the JT9D engine, a high-bypass turbofan. On September 30, 1968, the first 747 was rolled out of the custom-built Everett Plant, the world's largest building by volume. The first flight took place on February 9, 1969, and the 747 was certified in December of that year. It entered service with Pan Am on January 22, 1970. The 747 was the first airplane called a "Jumbo Jet" as the first wide-body airliner. Freighter variants of the 747 remain popular with cargo airlines. The final 747 was delivered to Atlas Air in January 2023 after a 54-year production run, with 1,574 aircraft built.
Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (日本航空株式会社, Nihon Kōkū Kabushiki-gaisha, formerly Japan Air Lines), also known as JAL (Jaru) or Nikkō (日航), is an international airline and Japan's flag carrier and largest airline as of 2022, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Its main hubs are Tokyo's Narita International Airport and Haneda Airport, as well as Osaka's Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport. the JAL group of which it forms part include Japan Airlines as well as J-Air, Japan Air Commuter, Japan Transocean Air, and Ryukyu Air Commuter for domestic feeder services, and JAL Cargo for cargo and mail services. During the 1970s, the airline bought the Boeing 727, Boeing 747, and McDonnell Douglas DC-10 for its growing routes within Japan and to other countries. In the 1980s the airline performed special flights for the Crown Prince Akihito and Crown Princess Michiko of Japan, Pope John Paul II and for Japanese prime ministers, until the introduction of the dedicated government aircraft using two Boeing 747-400, operated as Japanese Air Force One and Japanese Air Force Two. During that decade, the airline introduced new Boeing 747-100SR, Boeing 747-SUD, and Boeing 767 jets to the fleet and retired the Boeing 727s and Douglas DC-8s.
Once again thank you all for an amazing 3 years of doing this. Its been a pleasure editing these videos for everyone to enjoy! God bless!

3 years of a lot of flying! Congrats, slavian. Also a huge F for the 747. Legends will be forever remembered
We do not talk about the saddest and the worst incident happened on August 12, 1985. I hope those people are living peacefully and this one of the best airplane’s aesthetic that are out there! Marvelous job! Congrats on 3 years of anniversary! Slavian, can’t wait for DC-8!
1:17 4:27 takeoff and landing went very well
It looks like some few of these shots might've come from Moses Lake, Washington. That field would be Grant County International Airport (ICAO Code: KMWH), formerly Larson Air Force Base until 1966, with such long military runways making it beautifully perfect for practicing takeoffs, landings, and approaches. If it looks kind of desert-y or scrubby that's the scablands of Washington. Japan Air Lines used to have a training facility out there and had a close relationship with the local community, with a bunch of 6th grade students getting to fly a round-robin of the airport with a training crew once a year. They ceased operations there around 2008 and now perform training out of Oita Airport.
Bro that would be sick!!! Just imagine you as a 6th grader getting to ride in one of these beauties every year
rest in peace to all souls involved with flight JAL 123🙏🙏🙏
Can't believe I missed it!

It's not the version of Fly-By-Day I was hoping for, but I'm not complaining, either version is just as wonderful.

Another bit of deliciousness.
Happy anniversary keep up the amazing work
This is awesome, your video's make my day a whole lot better. Showcasing the Aircraft and other stuff always makes me happy to see a channel like this do it, I like the video also. The 747 will be missed by all, now that is retiring, "The Queen of the Skies" is what they called it. And Seeing this peice of aircraft leave us at this point in time, is like stopping a legacy that will never be forgotten. Keep up the wonderful and passionate work.
