The Vauxhall Astra Sri Turbo Barn Find Project was suffering missfire and fuel trim issues! This was effecting the whole map including boost problems. Every issue was down to the Ecu Loom earth. Follow this guide of your having the same issues. Especially Fault code p0300 p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304 p0100 - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I have an Edition 100 Turbo with exactly the problem highlighted. I have owned the car for 10 years now.
Followed your guidance and can honestly say the difference in the car is nothing short of sensational.
Smoother, more power, better MPG.
It now feels the 330bhp it should be.

I done this repair myself and it makes a huge difference. It’s highly advisable for anyone with a Z20 Astra to do this repair!

Aaron Unknown definitely help. Hopefully it will put an end to people looking in the wrong place for the earth connectors.
I was also thinking about adding an extra earth take off further along the loom so it has another connection like it does on the inlet manifold but around the gear box area.

Had problems with my zafira gsi. After watching your video I check my injector loom to find a broken wires going to the maf and the map sensor wasn’t plugged in. Only had the car a week and didn’t no it had that much power. It’s like a different car. Thank you for the great video has helped me sort my car

Nice job on that loom! I know I would have been looking left and right to find what was wrong if I had to sort that out lol. Good shout on the V power I use it in my bot standard 1.6 diesel and it does make a huge difference to the way it runs, not so much power in it because it hasn’t got much anyways but it doesn’t detonate like normal diesel so I don’t get a rattle under acceleration. I think mine needs carbon cleaning or something like that but the v power does help it so I just continue to run it on that and it’s happy.
Most definitely is far superior fuel!

Shaun West it seems like it is mate but and I do drive quite aggressively but it doesn’t seem to make much difference to it but having the v power in the tank does make the difference. I think with that and blasting it around like a hooligan will help it clear out but I think it will want a walnut blasting or something like that at some point

Really useful video, I’m working on a lotus evoura with the z20let lump in. It’s running poorly and the data on the opcom is weird too. The barometric pressure is 50 kpa and the battery voltage reads 8.9 even though the battery is over 12v. Could this earth problem cause this? Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
what's the correct colour to each pin on the maf sensor ?

Great job arron does the z20let and the z20ler have the same loom I've changed most of the sensors on my astra h Sri turbo but it still seems to be over fuelling if the looms are the same I'll have a look at the earths
Could really do with your help on mine mate im unsure what my readings are meant to be on opcom but my cars running lean and ive just changed the engine as it melted piston 3 in the last engine
