    As a Black Man, this seriously motivates me to serve in the Intelligence Community after my Military Service.

    Such a critical conversation. I hope it continues. Diversity means something different in the IC. They rely* on a diverse workforce. So its unique in intelligence that they may be more advanced than the rest of society. What is not talked about is the inequalities in promotions, senior positions etc.

    Tiny little Jewish note: The "tent" isn't for Passover. It's for Sukkot.

    Agent verses informant in our community it can be hard to tell the difference. But I totally understand the need.

    You need multi-domain agents from a multitude of domains add them to domains they are not familiar with to get a better picture of the situation from a different aspect ratio or is it racial?

    We need to do a better job of increasing diversity in the IC. Thank you for addressing this topic and for assembling this talented group of patriots.

    Diversity should not even be a consideration. Finding talented and highly intelligent people - regardless of superficial identity traits - should be the goal. If you cast a wide net and dont actively discriminate you will get the cream of the crop and there will be diversity, but setting a goal for diversity will harm the intelligence community.

      This is so idiotic. You need people from diverse backgrounds to work in diverse environments. Places like Pakistan, somali, Iran, russia, China, Mexico, and other hostile areas need people of similar backgrounds to operate in. You think not having diverse people in these places will work?

      Dont hire them just in the name of diversity. Hire them because they are capable of doing the job. There are people with high IQs in every race. Find them and recruit them.

      @@DaveWard-xc7vd The hiring of said people, will always be contingent on the person hiring.

      No. The person designated to hire new employees will not have that job for very long if they fail to hire competent workers. They cant simply hire people based upon their own personal biases - negative or positive.

      @@DaveWard-xc7vd LOL you must not work in the real world. Institutions did not start accepting minority hires because of the goodness of their hearts. Laws had to be introduced.

    Race should not matter, right?

    • @enyskept
      @enyskept ปีที่แล้ว

      It shouldn’t but American History demonstrates that it actually does matter and that non-whites are inferior.
