Making a Cork Covered Breezy Clutch with Maker's Leather Supply

This project was fun! We wanted to start playing with cork fabric so we decided to make a Breezy Clutch out of it. The interior of the clutch is still leather, but we covered the exterior with natural colored cork fabric and it looks awesome! The Breezy Clutch is named that because it truly is a breeze to complete this very nice little clutch wallet.

I looooove cork! I’ve made lots of bags, pouches and wallets with it. It sews beautifully on just a household sewing machine. I’ve thought about pairing cork with leather, but haven’t tried it yet. My mystery box comes today and I can wait to get started!! Thanks Aaron and Janie Sue!!

I would like the veterans doing a damn great thing for all vets from a nam ranger that was ignored.
The cork is very beautiful, even if it happens to be vegan ;) Any idea of its longevity? I avoid using anything but true leather with wallets / clutches because they don't hold up to daily use, but the cork is tempting!!

Ive never seen that cork stuff before. Here's a silly question, but could you tool on that cork material?
No sir. Kinda squishy. I used a branding iron on some with marginal success.
Does the cork take dye well?
Haven't tried but we will have it available in several colors.
