I'm only 17 mins in so I don't know if you addressed it here, nor have I watched more recent videos, BUT You said you built that mega hyper coaster to get bigger stats on it so you could get more people into the park. That's not how guest generation works, sadly. People are attracted to the park based on a certain number of people per ride (each ride is different). Stats don't matter. You could have a corkscrew rollercoaster that launches into a half corkscrew at the slowest speed and that's it, spam it a bunch, and you'll have more guests than you know what to do with. Advertising is also huge, obviously. And on bumbly bazaar, put umbrellas at $20 and wait for the first rain and you're done lol.
Thanks for the advice! I actually didn't know the guests were attracted per ride, not from stats, so this is a huge help. I've started implementing this knowledge into newer videos!
currently trying to beat this particular scenario and man am I having a hard time with it lol. I don't know if you have the answer to this, but I noticed at one point that my shop sales were over $1,000 but I still hadn't won. Is it based on the number listed under food/drink and not shops in general? if so, i have a long way to go 😂
Thanks! I think zooming in that close is unique to OpenRCT2, a feature not available in the vanilla game. But if you own the vanilla game, setting up OpenRCT 2 is very easy (and free), and improves the game immensely.
The copyrighted piece is called Die Regimentskinder. I’m not sure if it’s Austrian or Hungarian, but sadly, it is copyrighted work. Chris Sawyer (or Allister Brimble) must have negotiated limited rights to use the piece in the game, but sadly this right doesn’t extend to content creators like myself. I wasn’t penalized for it appearing in my Factory Capers video, though I can’t monetize it. Which is fine, because my tiny channel isn’t monetized anyway 😆

The piece as it appears in RT2 is Allister Brimble's own version for which he will own the copyright, but within the context of your video I would argue it falls under fair use (as with all of the other in-game music tracks). I don't know why it was flagged, but it was surely in error. Perhaps TH-cam was comparing it to a specific copyrighted recording of the piece, but the tune as it appears in RT2 should be completely fine. Easy grounds to dispute imo
