One thing i heard somewhere that really helped me is “It’s weird that people think you need to start dating as soon as you are not a kid”. You have your whole life ahead of you. You don’t have to worry about finding a romantic partner so soon. Most relationships in high school don’t last very long after high school anyways.

I'm a 14 year old girl but I'm scared to become an adult. Recently I've been more exposed to sex. It's scaring me because My dad sexually abused me and my sister when I was 9, she was 13. I see pictures of him holding us as babies and I think "when did he start thinking about us that way? Did he always intend to hurt us?" Apartments aren’t the only places to live in at 18, there are also houses. You just need more money for a house. It’s super expensive compared to apartments, but as long as you have tons of money, you should be fine. Why are people focusing on apartments only? Those places are so small. I live in an apartment right now and it feels like hell.

I'm a 14 year old girl but I'm scared to become an adult. Recently I've been more exposed to sex. It's scaring me because My dad sexually abused me and my sister when I was 9, she was 13. I see pictures of him holding us as babies and I think "when did he start thinking about us that way? Did he always intend to hurt us?" I still remember the look he'd give me. it wasn't the way a father should view his daughter, it was a lustful craving look... I wear oversized clothes to hide my body because my family has a past of pedophilia so I don't want them looking at me in that way. Due to the abuse, I'm sensitive to the way people look at me. I'm scared because when I turn 18, any man at any age will be able to look at me in any way they please and I can't be upset about it because I will be "legal"

Apartments aren’t the only places to live in at 18, there are also houses. You just need more money for a house. It’s super expensive compared to apartments, but as long as you have tons of money, you should be fine. Why are people focusing on apartments only? Those places are so small. I live in an apartment right now and it feels like hell.
How can a teen afford a house? Unless you’re in a fraternity, sorority, or have multiple roommates it would be easy to afford for a while :/
