    Man that can am motor sounds strong! Also that's why you put tires and a lift kit on, saves the machine in the long run. Great video guys!!

    It's surprising how well the side-by-sides actually do in the mud! Been on a couple rides with them and they've surprised me everytime! Cool!

      Some of those holes swallow quad's and he just powered through them, surprised the hell out of me! Can't wait our next ride is July 9th we are heading up to a pretty nasty spot I'll be excited to see what kind of footage we will get with this Maverick XMR.

    I've always had Dirt bikes but am about to be 40 and my Wife is letting me get a SXS. I was going to get a Polaris XP 1000 but started hearing that they tear up all the time and my salesman emailed me today where he's got the exact Can-Am as this one even in the hyper silver and octane blue pretty much the same as the one in this video. He says it's got 152 miles and looks like it just came off the showroom, and said I could bring it home for a little under $15,000 after taxes. And the New Polaris xp1000 is $15,799 before taxes. So my question is which one would be more fun yet dependable in the long run? Keep in mind I will not be doing anything like you're doing in the video lol. I just want one to hit a few mild trails with my wife or my little girl. No bashing, mudding, or Big jumps. Just some joy riding through some small ankle deep creeks and trails. Which would be the better deal for me?

      @XMARGH  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jonathan Davis Hey Jonathan, both are really nice SXS’s but many of us feel that Can-Am’s fit and finish is far better. The XMR Maverick is a nice unit but you may not like the ride of the silverback tires. The tires though can be changed. The Polaris is a smaller SXS so see how you and your wife fit in it first. Both are pretty equal in power and value. The edge to me will go to the Can Am for build quality but you may want to put trail friendly tires on it. Hope that helps.

      XMARGH yeah that helped alot. I can always change the tires like you said. I'm mainly wanting the most dependable and as far as the Maverick XMR being bigger that's a good thing because although I'm not a big guy I'm a tall guy at 6'2 and about 175 lbs my wife is 5'9 and about 130 lbs so I'm thinking we have made the decision to get the Can Am XMR Turbo. A big thanks for the help bro.

      Thanks! I'll be doing more dual pov shots in future videos, and that Maverick XMR is no joke, straight out of the crate its a real performer, I was blown away by how good it was even on stock 30x9" Silverbacks.

    What Locker system is installed in that Maverick?

    • @XMARGH
      @XMARGH  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      JIVEN IT AGAIN At the time of this video that was the factory Visco Lock. He now has a torq locker installed and it’s working great.

    Sounds like a Can-Am belt overheating like always

    • @XMARGH
      @XMARGH  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He did a QSC Primary eventually in this rig and belt slip was a thing of the past. Have to remember this was a stock out of the show room unit when we shot this video. His new X3 XRC is clutched perfect from the factory.

    How do you find sludgehammer ?
    Do you know if they will fit the commander in 30".
    Is sludgehammer as good as the Gorilla Silverback Tire in deep mud ?
    I travel a lot alone in mud no trees to hook winch on so I need the best mud tire . I use bighorns on hard pack . I use 2 sets of wheels .

    • @XMARGH
      @XMARGH  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Patrick no one I know here locally is running the Sludgehammer tires. I know that these tires run short, so a 30" Sludgehammer is going to end up being as tall as a 28" tire. The next issue is the tread is very similar to the Maxxis Mudzilla and they do not work anywhere near as good as a Silverback or Outlaw. Stick with the tried tested and true Silverback or Outlaw tires for extreme mudding, they are popular for a reason.
