osh kunt I notice alot of media will state something is Nordic or Nordic based in terms of culture and what not. Even in Skyrim where the Nords are supposed to be like the ancient Vikings, but their culture is more similar to ancient Celtic culture. Specifically Gaelic. That is an interest perspective though that I hadn't thought about. I enjoyed the ritual movie, except I enjoyed it more when you only got brief flashes of the juten. I do appreciate not getting a full extended look until the end of the movie, but it lost alot of it's horror to me after that.

Why scp 2845 was gone for a time in DJKaktus's lore (as its depicted in a mural in scp 4840), has this sibling entity representing rituals (scp 4971) and appeared later as an entity falling from the sky idk. Weather it also connects to Daleport, the Saturn Deer (not scp 2845) and Pangloss idk either

I'm a bit surprised that the Foundation haven't tried rules lawyering this SCP. If the requirement to close the portal is sacrificing every human on Earth, why not move every human except for one from Earth into space for 2 minutes and kill that one guy?
It's likely that the requirement isn't precisely "every human on earth" but rather an actual very large number of humans that at the time of the SCP's discovery would have equaled the human population of earth
You're most likely right, according to the SCP article itself the requirement is "every human heart that has not yet known silence" which is frustratingly vague. It could mean that everyone who has not been clinically dead needs to be sacrificed or something like that.

Not gonna lie, I like DJkaktus stories for the most part, but he or she seems to characterize the foundation overtly cruel, and/or a bit incompetent. An example in this story is the fact that the foundation actually seriously considered sacrificing the entire world to stop 1 entity. As heartless as they may seem at times, what is the ultimate point of the foundation, if not to protect humanity?

@@TheXell Theres still a problem with using that scp in that everyone on earth will still die. The people are still dead, they've only been replaced by duplicates. It also appears that SCP-2000 wasnt even considered in this document.
This might be a bit related to scp 2845 on account of it being a deer, having orbs floating around it and rituals.

Glad this one wasn't just a clone of The Deer. Honestly much less disturbing, but quite a bit more interesting. The opening sentence of this narration is particularly amusing when compared to The Deer. "What if a price is too high to pay" - like cannibalizing 100+ babies a year?

Site 13 was a story about why the foundation doesn't kill/destroy anomalies, rituals is about the entity and it's containment protocols, and wether or not those protocols would even work
