    Thank you so much for the info. I have a Thomas & Betts 3301T button that fell off and after I reassembled it, it would no longer ring the bell. No parts broke off or are missing as far as I can tell, but no connection to the receiver. Do I just buy a new one (seems to be hard to find) or do you have any advice?

    I have a question about the product. How do I change the batteries on the RC8253R Carlon door chimes; I cannot find a battery compartment. The system was hard wired into the house, so there isn't a battery in the transmitter [door push button]; however the door chime device is wired into the house doorbell and I can read that the pin configuration is currently set to "Ding-Dong";
    I just found the following information on your website
    "The RC8532R is a battery operated wireless receiver compatible with Carlon door chime product line. This is the receiver featured in the RC3510 battery door chime kit. If you currently have an existing Carlon (Dimango) wireless door chime transmitter, add this product to expand your system or replace a device.
    This receiver is fully compatible with Carlon (Dimango and Thomas and Betts) wireless door chime products. To use this battery operated receiver, you must have a compatible wireless transmitters such as the RC3301.
    Weatherproof capability makes this great for patios and decks
    Powered by 4 x c-sized alkaline batteries (not included) that should power the unit for 6-12 months before you need to change the batteries (under normal usage)
    The receiver has 13 different melodies and sound options to choose from…the transmitter will determine the available options. RC3301 push button provides all 13 different options. RC3050T (extend a chime transmitter) only allows 6. See RC3500 for specific tunes allowed.
    Flexible mounting design allows for vertical or horizontal mounting (also may set it directly on table top)
    32 available privacy codes to prevent interference from neighboring devices
    1-year manufacturer’s warranty
    Manufactured by Thomas and Betts (Carlon brand)"

      @@jayshreepatel9488 I didn't change a battery because I couldn't find a battery. I cleaned the inside circuitry with 90% isopropyl alcohol; checked the wiring and moved the receiver to a different outlet - tested the doorbell and to my surprise it works.

    Could you help me with a Dimango doorbell I have at my (newly purchased) home? The doorbell punch button is missing, unfortunately. It is an RC3613 unit. Looks to be fairly new and in great shape. May I call or write you for assistance to fix this up? Gave you a “thumbs up”... John

    Thanks for the video, I thought that you needed to do something like that, but it's better to check than destroy the product.
