27:10 Ok one gameplay tipp: Weapons are strong against different defences in ME2 and 3. There are 4 different defences: Shields, barriers, armor, health. Depending on what you're trying to get rid off different weapons should be used. At this moment the defense of the heavy mech is its shields - and you're using your heavy pistol which is strong against armor but weak against shields and barriers. Your submachine gun on the other hand is strong against barriers and shields but weak against armor. In short: Rapid fire burst weapons shred shields and barriers in no time while high impact single shot weapons are strong against armor. For each weapon type its strengths and weaknesses are listed in the description. 32:00 Renegade interrupts are in the lower left corner of the screen, are activated by clicking the left mouse button and the icon is red, not blue. No chance to confuse them.
I really love how everybody in Julia's chat and Julia herself are big Joker stans. I never understood the hate so many people had for the man, he does his job always perfectly and is a pretty funny guy to boot. Definitely one of my favorite ''non squad'' characters.

I never noticed before, in any of my playthroughs, that Prazza is voiced by Mark Meer. In case anyone here is somehow not aware of who Mark Meer is, he voiced BroShep and a ton of other characters throughout the trilogy. All of the vorcha, all of the hanar, a few volus, various and sundry humans. Maybe Prazza's accent threw me off the quality of the voice before. Neat!
God, knowing how great of a character Ashley can be, all the hate she gets for not being absolutely perfect and having actual flaws is pretty annoying.
Fun fact: Jacob talking about the Batarian plot to kill the Council with a bioweapon takes place in "Mass Effect Galaxy", a Mass Effect mobile game that was released just before Mass Effect 2 was released and in anticipation of it's coming. The story took place before ME2 and featured Jacob as the main protagonist. The story was standardly good, but the gameplay was poorly done.
I love how in this stream there's a perfect example of why Mass Effect or similar games shouldn't be streamed. A lot of people spoil stuff and backseating often happens.
I was thinking the same exact thing. How many times did she say "don't tell me anything" but as always it gets ruined. Honestly because of that I'm not even sure if I want to invest the time watching if everything gets ruined. Part of the charm of these games is to see the reactions. Oh well

All she does is talk to them half the time instead of focusing on the game, the needs in her stream spoil the story, and she is constantly checking herself out and making sure her god damn hair looks okay. This is so true, I love how she has to treat her chat like children because that’s clearly the maturity and intellectual level they operate on. She’s way too nice to them. This playthrough is amazing so far but would be SO much better if those dumbos weren’t constantly jabbering at her, making dumb jokes is literally the best that they do 😂
If you are really interested on romancing Miranda as Femshep it is possible using mods. If you would like to do so I can try to give you links as spoiler free as possible, but maybe it is better to wait for a second playthrough. Nice one by the way.
Regarding the Miranda romance situation: you can always do another playthrough with a MaleShep and romance her. You are not wasting fuel by flying around within a star system btw - fuel is only required if you leave a system to travel to another star system in the same cluster. Travelling via Mass Relay and flying within the individual systems does not require any fuel at all. The Space Hamster is actually an easter egg referring to Baldur's Gate - the ranger Minsc has an animal companion which is tagged as a space hamster named Boo. And Minsc's signature line has become a meme as well ("Go for the eyes Boo go for the eyes").

I personally like that you cant romance every character as any gender, some characters are gay some are straight and some are bi, they dont change their sexuality just because you fancy them... thats just life why should it be any different in game romance options from real life? :P
I played Sims 2 and Sims 3 (not my choice, my ex liked the Sims games and she wanted me to play with her to those games, and I wanted her to be happy ;) ) Fortunately Miranda absolutely does NOT look like a Sim 3 character... I hated their faces, their textures, their facial expressions, everything ! Happily, she's not like them at all !

I chose Udina. I really don't understand the hate he gets. Sure he doesn't agree with you all the time, but why do you want only to work with yes men? Anderson's blind belief of you is more aggravating to me than Udina ever was, and Anderson clearly admits to be derelicting his duties as council member.
Prob cuz Anderson and Shepard had been working together for several years, and he knows their service record so he actually knows what Shep is capable of and who they are as a person. There's a reason for him to be supportive of them. And there's a difference between a simple difference of opinion and a power hungry career politician willing to take any opportunity to seize influence for himself where he sees fit. If you choose to sacrifice the Council in ME1 he openly takes advantage of the power vacuum and implements his own yes men to help cement his influence in galactic politics. And, ME3 Spoilers: let's not forget his actions in ME3 that get a TON of people killed, and tried to conspire to get the rest of the Council assassinated. He is quite so an awful person that people have every right to dislike.

the facial animations look off because the "remake" didn't update them to be accurate to fit with the new models, looked better on the original
