- An easy way to draw the basic components of the brachial plexus. On paper, it's pretty easy to draw the brachial plexus using this method in around 10 seconds. I know I fumbled on a few words here and there but that shouldn't distract from how easy it can be to draw the brachial plexus.

i first learned from this for anatomy last year and now i'm back here studying from it again for boards. thanks!! best video out there for sure!
This is the simplest and clearest video I've seen yet on the brachial plexus. Always great for learning or if you need a quick review. Thank you!
-med student :)
THIS IS GOLD! just memorized brachial plexus for Anatomy in medical school- never seen it done so easy- THANK YOU. I mean it. wow
I seen some similar videos that appear more polished, but none of them simplify it as well as you do. Very helpful. Thank you.
almost 2 years later and MARMU still sticks with me. MARMU!
It's nice to read that fellow PT's and not just med students are studying this stuff so carefully.
This is a great video. Very helpful. I just started Chiropractic school and we are bombarded with so much information right away. Videos like this cut your studying down by hours. I shared it with everyone in my class. Thanks so much you have done many a great service!
Pretty impressive vid - you definitely did what you promised!
OMG you have saved my sanity! Thanks so much! I'm sharing this with my entire PT class.
You, sir, have made my evening! Thank you.
This is awesome. Nice work Scott
this is great and super helpful! Just a mental note to share the middle thoracodorsal nerve could be drawn a bit longer running inferiorly to intersect with the C8 as its origins are C6-C8. And upper and lower subscapular could be drawn running superiorly on the C7 posterior cord to help demonstrate that their origins are C5-C6. Just some gaps I filled references my material and in case anyone else needs the info ! I really love this video and it helped me understand the brachial plexus just one thing I noticed !
So amazing
This is definitely the best brachial plexus vid out there. I refer this video to a lot to my classmates in med school. I assume I'll go back to it when studying for boards. Thank you!
When I drew this, my teacher told me it's the best possible diagram for the brachial plexus.
Thank you for sharing this :) I really appreciate your comment :)
Man you really saved me by making this video........... Thank you sooo much.
Wonderful, simplistic! Not two words often used together when describing the experience of gross dissection, but here, we can safely appoint this video as such. Thank you very much - this was shared all over our chiropractic school for the 3 semesters of dissection. Also watching collateral artery video. Best Regards, the students of NYCC
duuuuude, god i love you soooo much! ive looked into tons of videos about the plexus but this was the Easiest, simplest and the best way of explaining it. Thank you sooooooooooo much :D
Great video... but does the buzzing of the speaker's cell phone drive anyone else crazy?!
omg seriously -- wtf? with the buzzing? can anyone do without a cell phone w/in arms reach? kill the phone
A HUGE thank you for making this so much simpler! One happy first year med student ;)
Very useful and easy to remember! thanks I have learnt this loads but always forget! might stick in my head now.
Dude, you are a life saver!! Med student!! :)
If you are not med student you won't be here
Well, I just graduated PT school, and I'm studying for my boards. And, I know for a fact that OTs learn this in school as well. Just saying lol
Nurse Anesthetist students are here as well. CRNAs place many many nerve blocks. This is a must. We are taught this as well as sacral, lumbar, and cervical. Not just med students.
Thank you. It helped me to memorize the brachial pkexus for anatomy test.
Big jords is your number one fan... he'll be happy to give you the caboolture treatment...
Thanks a lot for making the brachial plexus easier =P im gonna draw that up in the exam to help me out =) thanks!
Wow! this is soo helpful. very easily and simply put. thanks!
This is pure gold, thanks 👏🏽
do not know if you still read the comments but thanks for the great video. you made it a hell of a lot easier for students everywhere.
Excellent video, you make this so easy!
Amazing video, it's a very good way to learn the brachial plexus
Thank you for this!! Have a test at work for a new position and was having such a hard time remembering placement of the BO...UNTIL your video. Watched you draw it 3 times and I had it!! Timed myself and did it in 3:17
BP not BO, lol
thank you soooo much god bless you!! :D ....have an exam tomorrow and was breaking my head to learn the diagram! thank u so so so much!
Outstanding! Thank you.
Thank you, amazing video!! First year Med Student!!.. :)
Helped a lot. Thank you.
Thanks so much! This was a lot of help for block 1!
there is a brachial plexus in each arm so that would be two but, if we're speaking about any plexus pertaining to nerves then there are many. Consulting the index in "Atlas of Human Anatomy" by Frank Netter shows over 1/2 page worth of different plexus in the human body.
YOU’RE A GENIUSSSSSSS
That was great man, thanks!
Thanks man. This really helped me out.
dude this is high yield. thank you so much for this, putting netter to shame!
you should upload more videos like this!

This was fairly helpful, and thankfully there were only very minor differences in my textbook, thanks :)
@sytry15 - I just finished Part I this past Spring and got plenty of mileage out of the brachial plexus. fyi, I remember a lot of questions on the muscles on the back of the neck, capitis rectus and so forth. best of luck to you! :)
Thanks a lot , it helps at our reviews for any medical entrance exams...
Great video!
that being said, thanks for the video :) its really good.
Great video breaking down the content, however I'm pretty sure the Axillary Nerve goes to the Deltoid muscle as well.
can you teach at my med school?
haha jk....thanks for an awesome video. i was sort of having an anxiety attack just now until i found this video! thanks bro
Hey thanks for you comment on my Brachial Plexus video. I just approved your video response :)
Thanks also for subscribing.
Great videos. Keep posting.
Great video! Thanks a lot!
dude this is amazing!!!!!
OMG this is sooooooo helpful! Thank you!
Great resource for practice! Don't forget about the long head of tricep as innervation for Axillary N. ( Deltoid, TM, and LHT). :)
KISS!!!
Thanks for making B.P so easy!!!!
Do you have any video that explains more about cord segments ???
thank you, you are great .. really helpful
Just a quick question: On the posterior branch, you said the LMU stand for Lower, Middle and Upper Subscapular nerves. I agree with the L and U, but is the name Median Subscapular nerve synonimous to Thoracodorsal nerve? We only know it by that name (thoracodorsal) in my country, not sure if they are the same thing. Thanks.
"Remember To Drink Cold Beer" ha ha nice!
Median nerve actually goes to 5 muscles, all intrinsic muscles of the hand:
LLOAF:
The first and second lumbricals (2)
And the 3 muscles in the thenar compartment of the hand: opponens pollicis, abductor pollicis brevis and flexor pollicis brevis.
Median nerve goes to: pronator teres, flexor carpi radialis, palmaris longus, flexor digitorum superficialis, flexor pollicis longus, pronator quadratus, half of flexor digitorum profundus, flexor pollicis brevis, abductor pollicis brevis, opponens pollicis and the first two lumbricals. So actually 11.5 muscles!
Excellent!
Awesome. Thanks!
Really nice video, but doesnt the Dorsal scapular nerver innervates only Rhomboid major and minor? So two muscles instead of 3?
Thank you so much! Laura, Occupational Therapy Student!
Thanks a lot from germany!
@djedwnpk
Triceps brachii is normally supposed to be innervated by the radial nerve.
Moore's has it listed that way, as do my professors. I suppose it's possible (anything is) but it's not the norm.
Just for clarifying this would be the Anterior view of the right side? or Posterior view of the left side?
thanx sir, that really helped, more vdos Please, like axilla, poplitial fossa, mediastinium etc
Thanks Man !
thanks so much! God Bless u!!!!
Thank you! Just FYI the Median N goes to 5 ( 2 lubricals and then 3 thenar muscles)
Thanx alot maan really helpfull ur a genious.
