If you can tell the difference between the "hood" or a "ghetto" from an upper-middle-class neighborhood is it really because you're arrogant? No, it's because one environment feels unsafe/dangerous, filthy, desperate, despair where the other shows safety, hope, cleanliness, and opportunity. Thats first... she set the precedent for rudeness especiallyyyy this man acquiesced to her request & she wasnt actively listening to what he had to say & was rudely looking at her phone. Fukk her. He wasnt even terrible to her he tried to help her & gave her straight forward advice. @Gucci Pane you are entitled to your opinion but how you intake the life experience you have is your own business, not anyone elses. I cannot control how you internalize what i am telling you. He chose to speak to her in a way & thats his choice, how she interprets, internalizes & feels about it is her responsibility. Ive seen he absolutely eviscerate cringey males for not comprehending obvious facts & trying to dismiss facts into opinions. He is pretty straight forward, he says how he feels, & most ppl cannot handle honestly looking into the mirror. Also you are assuming this video had a negative impact on this young woman's life; what if because of this video, a man who was attracted to her & fit what she was looking for decided to pursue her? What if she got her happily ever after cuz of what Kevin Samuels said to her going viral? I will agree that ppl with platforms should be very mindful of their influence & act responsibly with respect to it, but your angle is very presumptuous.

    The outrage directed at that man is rooted in the fact that women aren't treated like men. Women, as well as society, are not used to hear and see women being addressed very frankly. Meaning, it is socially accepted and 'standard procedure' to tell a man that he is not tall or rich enough for this or that women. You can see that around you in your daily lives, you will hear and will have heard it in shows were men told they are this or that, you will see it in movies etc. etc. I doubt that many women could take being a man because you do not get any privilege as a man, no sugar coating. Ppl will be very blunt and treat you like somebody that can 'take it'. Most women would have a crude awakening if they ever experienced that and the women that do experience it immediately cry in outrage. This is just another example of that.

    You say "I just feel..." or anything like that, I'll listen. I'll listen for hours, and have.
    You end something with a "?", and you get my opinion.
    Don't want to follow those guidelines? Don't vent at me.

    Can someone make it make sense?

    • @mangastar234
      @mangastar234 4 ปีที่แล้ว +49

      Yes women typically do more outside the financial realm so if the man doesn’t go out of his way to compensate it feels like you’re pulling most of the weight.
      When women are in ltrs or marriages with men that make less they still do the bulk of the childcare and home care if not all of it. If the man took this on then many women wouldn’t feel like they’re losing out in this situation. When the man makes more women no longer care because his finances make up for his lack of non financial contributions.
      Also this may sound harsh to say but men are a liability for women if you’re not careful. So you either need a guy who makes more money or one who puts in a lot of relationship work outside of finances. Since many men consider the latter to be “simping” these days women are left with the former.

    Getting a woman who makes more isn't ever worth it because
    a) They are stingy as hell
    b) If they spend on you they don't do it out of the goodness of their heart, it's almost always a relationship bargaining tool. You know you gotta earn that money somehow. You've never seen anything more bitter than a woman who don't feel she got her money's worth.
    c) Be sure her friends do not respect you no matter how much of a "good" man you are.
    Only really worth it for the submissive type. Whereas a woman can be strong and dominant in a household even if she doesn't bring in any money, be sure there is absolutely no scenario at all where the reverse is true.
    I dated a well off woman once. At first she bought stuff for me and started giving orders around the house. I was like nah, we gon make decisions together. You can ask but you can't demand. Then she started trying to bargain using things she knew I wanted. "If you do this I'll buy you this." I was like nah. The good thing is I had my own little rinky dink company so I didn't need to ever ask for money. I just kept living within my means. Eventually I had to break it off because she couldn't understand I was in the relationship for her, not her money, and I wasn't going to budge to demands but rather to reasonable discussion.
    TLDR: If mutual respect is important to you, think real hard before dating a woman much wealthier than you.

    see the issue is she's primarily placing the blame on why her relationships are not working out is salary and not the dudes themselves, she immediately thinks anyone who makes less than her is "dating down" which is the worst fucking reason to view dating down in that regard, dating down is when you know someone has problems either emotionally or isnt what you'd normally want in another person so you're settling to see if you might be wrong and there might be more to them than what you're seeing initially, you should never set an income standard for dating period and only set standards for what you actually want in a relationship with another person, not how much income they bring in, salary has nothing to do with people being shit heads its the fact that sadly a good amount of people are just shit heads is why theyre shit heads
