Aloha! I also tried with just beeswax. No joy trying to use it on dishes, but ! ... since I made several different shapes, I found that the long rectangle works well enough wrapped around the ends of a banana bunch.
I'll have to look into pine resin blend method. Thanks for the tip 🤙
