The most underrated city in the country
So Happy someone is showing PE is one of the beautiful cities in Douth Africa
""Its big mess Ride slowly, and you will see..................!!!!!!!!!!!!" ""The streets are empty." ""Nothing going on. 😅😂🤣 🤣"🤪
Been going to PE during December for the past five years. Stayed in Summerstrand, Humewood and Mill Park. Accomodation is cheaper, but I noticed a significant price increase last year. Activities are minimal, The Bayworld has been neglected,it's cheaper and worth the visit. There's another self drive game reserve there too, very nice and cheape. A normal sedan can easily drive there, we used our Q5,no issues. Beershack is one nice pub/restaurant in Summerstrand. It is a very laid back City which I believe the EC government is underutilising when it comes to attract tourists
The Bay is still neat and windy 🥰
Definitely not neat, the CBD is in shambles
Welcome to Port Elizabeth ❤
Where you got off is Central where most students are staying
It's likely that the clock at the City Hall is functional. I used live there and work at the municipality. When I was a student, I once went up the clock towers of both the city hall and the Campanile (that tall skinny brown building) with the guy maintaining the clock.
This city has a special place in my heart. It has so much potential, you are so right.
Africa's Detroit
That is where majority vehicles are assembled.
Can you please make a tour of Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium?
18:51 That the New Post Office.😅 It was built in the 80s. The old post office is next to the Vuyisile Mini square (Market Square where the City Hall, Public Library, etc are located), but it is dilapidated.
""Port elizabeth is in one huge big mess. 🤦♀️
My and girl have a long distance relationship and she lives in pe i live all the way in California but yes its beautiful over there i seen pictures of the city its really nice
You forgot to call it by its new name. I dont blame you.
Please remember those are BRICK buildings
I grew up close to PE, what a mess the place looks like, 40 years ago it was the gem of SA, now it looks like a shanty town, what a disgrace, and the young people think that is what it always looked like, no, this is what happen if people with no education try to run a city, a province and a country.
Leave😂 go to Australia. Apartheid sympathizers are something else😊😂
It’s still beautiful around summerstrand and the other wealthier suburbs, but yes the former CBD is a mess. Drove past there on my way to the airport during a recent visit to SA and was disheartened to see the amount of urban decay
"Go to flat Rock, and you will see beer bottles broken on the beach, and car parked in the sea. 😅😂🤣 🤣"🤪
Can you walk here? uhmmmmmmmmm.....
Where is people? Nobody..
It was the beginning of January, so everyone was on leave and out of town 👍
@@Livinginsatv Well I was there five years ago, same feeling in february. Empty CBD.
