Those loading times are the real killer here, far more impressive than graphics. Shows what amazing tech both the PS5 and Steam Deck are; there truly is no better combination for gaming now
Nah, it really isn’t. If you already own a PS5 (or Series S/X) and a decently powerful PC, is the $hithouse battery life of the Steam deck really worth it? Not to mention how big it is. Unless you travel extremely light and you carry a massive backpack, the Steam Deck just isn’t convenient to travel with on top of the case for the Steam Deck itself being so big.
If anything, due to the first party titles on top of it not being overly cumbersome to travel around with, the Switch is arguably the better companion for the PS5. You get the best of both worlds.
This is why I sold my SD in hopes they would develop a ‘slimmer’ version later down the line.
Steam deck is only good if you travel a lot. Or if you’re addicted and have to game everywhere you go.

@@scorpplayer5617 That's one moment where the reflection map is missing. The steam deck is clearly falling on cube maps instead of what looks to be planar reflections for that scene. Plenty of other scenes look identical between the two or are better due to changes in the remastered version

As for the PS5 version.... you can't buy it neither digitally nor physically. There's also no upgrade if you own the PS4 version. It appears that the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales is the only way to get this game event now with the PC version available. And even then if you buy Miles Morales physically you only get a code for the remastered first part. In other words a former PS exclusive game is now widely available on PC but not on PS5 - even though there is a P5 version. Thanks Sony for another reason why the PS5 will probably my last PS.

It's what the game was originally designed for so they did the best they could with the hardware. Plus it was a very good looking game when it came out in 2018
The loading times aren't that bad really only 33 seconds compared to games like Forza horizon 5 Xbox one and the crew 2 33 seconds isn't that bad
Well thanks to an HDD load times will be bad. They can be improved by adding a sata SSD but it will not get close to the Steam Deck or PS5 thanks to much faster drive speeds
