You'll hate me for saying this, but the problem with the AFI youtube channel is that it provides such small snippet size morsels, as if it were getting time on one of the three traditional American channels and competing with advertiser time. In the era of the long form podcast and videocast, where the Academy of Television can provide 9 hour interviews, to do a two minute clip, is really poor. The AFI, to live up yo it's mission statement, should really be curating every interview and seminar it has in it's vaults and should even sponsor other archive holding, state side, so that the writers, directors, photographers, musicians, actors, stars, character actors can come alive in perpetuity.
