  • In this episode of our quarterly interview series, host, Susan Hoffman, talks to Chick-fil-A entrepreneur, S. Truett Cathy. A child of the Great Depression, Cathy developed his business sense at a young age, selling Coca-Colas and newspapers. He started his first restaurant, The Dwarf Grill, after World War Two and began the Chick-fil-A chain in 1967, specializing in his own invention - the chicken sandwich. Today there are more than 1,250 Chick-fil-As around the country. A devout Christian, Cathy has always believed in ethics in business, the importance of family and in giving back. In this Conversation, he shares poignant, funny and insightful stories about his life, career and philanthropy.

    Great interview with Mr. Cathy. His story is amazing and a real tribute to his core values by which he lived his life and passed on to his family.
