This was a blind buy for me, and I can say that I really like it. With my body chemistry it reads orange blossom and amber. I live in NYC where it's quite hot right now say 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit, and it really projected. It does not last as long as Grand Soir or Oud Satin mood, but I think it's well blended.
I tried the fragrance, a sales person at Neiman Marcus showed it to me yesterday. It pulls more Amber on me, I really like it so far and asked to be put on the waitlist
I received the 5ml complimentary bottle. I'm a lady that enjoys unisex fragrances with amber and lavender. This is a big win for me. I didn't smell the originals, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I love this. Thanks for your video.
I was not even aware that the OG APOM line was discontinued. The Homme version was one of my favorite freshie from the line. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on Cologne Indelible from FM.
I think they have been discontinued for a few years now. I like Cologne Indélébile, more so for the huge musks. Not super unique or a stunner in the FM line but it's as good as a modern Cologne style fragrance can get.
Great review! Most of the MFK scents I tested all have this transparent plastic synthetic feeling, which I’m not a fan of. I think Quentin Bisch did the same thing but much better in Ganymede. Cheers!
Thank you! Yeah, I find them monotonous and like a chore to get through. Until Unless sales drop, I think he's going keep doing it without shaking up his style a bit.
@@ScentZatura I liked several MFK scents, but the only one I really loved, that I found truly beautiful, was Lumière Noire Homme. But of course that has been discontinued as well. He didn't have to do that. It seems this industry can never leave a good thing alone. As soon as you like something, you cannot buy it anymore. All the time.
I’ve got to agree with you Pradeep it does seem like a re-release for the sake of a release. No innovation happening anymore 😢 great review though. Thank you ☺️
Thanks SJ🙏🏻 Yeah, I think Brands are kinda obliged to release something every year now even if they have nothing to offer to be in the chatter. And some Niche houses have become so popular that they can't take risks.
@@ScentZatura absolutely agree. There’s a big push for relentless releases to see what sticks rather than the years it used to take to create something legendary
The animalic facets are what imo made APOM special. That's sad. I guess they want to appeal more to their current customers who might not be so receptive to the funky side.
Unfortunately, new Apom edp is thrash compared to old Apom. Best Apom was pour homme* version from 2009-2014, that was pure male amber/animalic perfume. Perfect for managers and actually Kurkdjian was selling those to managers only before mass production. After that from 2014-2019 there is apom homme* version which doesnt have that hard amber/animalic and it is okey. But this new, this is women perfume, not even a single guy would like to wear this 😂
You make a good case. I agree there is nothing challenging or animalic in this as per the name of the fragrance. Just a competenly done bland floral for the mass clientele.
I don't own a single fragrance from his line. It's just not distinct enough, there is no wow, no zsa zsa zsu. Perfectly serviceable scents, nothing more. Just not my wheelhouse.

Excellent! I do like the orange blossom part and like you say, it comes alive in the warm weather. Glad you are enjoying it
Thoughtful review! Don’t know the originals, so looking forward to testing.
Thank you! Yes, worth testing.. let us know what you think if possible. Cheers!

Interesting... Glad you like it. Few have told me it's too yellow floral for them. So it's good to hear you are getting the amber

Excellent! I am really glad you enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.
I really like it. My husband is not a fan of it for him. What other perfumes would you recommend that smell similar but a cheaper note?
Nice! I don't think there are exactly similar smells but maybe try Prada Infusion Ylang or Chloe Ylang Cananga.

It smell so good but doesn’t last

Wonder if they are throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Yea, it's strange seeing all these relaunches when they weren't successful in the first place
That's too bad. I was looking forward to a 'better' rerelease.
This has good elements but became a mixed bag with time on my skin unfortunately

They have clearly decided to prioritize maximum sales as they have a big following now. So I don't think we'll see anything risky.

I liked it but I'm happy I still have a full bottle of the Homme version. Pass
Nice! This line was never a showstopper from what I have seen. Atleast the older versions are probably better

Yeah, They don't feel particularly special or bringing something new to the table. Totally passable as usual designer stuff.
Accord? 🤨 I thought MFK was niche? 🧐 😂
Hahaha... I guess it's simply a Luxury Brand now
