Hi Sofie, glad to hear that you will continue your journey with Dimash through the 2017 "I am a Singer" competition. People have already commented on his vocal range. You will see that he sings in at least 6 languages (French, Russian, English, Chinese, Italian, native Kazakhstan) and plays multiple instruments (piano, drums, native dombra) during the competition where he finished second as an unknown guest foreigner singer. He is now a superstar in China, has fan clubs, and getting to be known as one of the greatest singers in the world now (opinion of vocal coaches as well as fans). He returned as a guest in 2018 "Singer" competition (won this year by Jesse J and Hua Chenyu finishing second) and sang "Hello" (Lionel Ritchie) at the show that launched his worldwide fame.

First song I heard from Dimash was SOS. He got me right there. Made me cry and all.
Believe it or not this is one of my least favorites by him, not that it isn't incredible, but some of his others are just that much more amazing! I'd start with SOS his first performance and work your way through! So happy you found him and Hua Chenyu! Both placed in second, Dimash in 2017, Hua in 2018, but let's face it, both were by FAR the best of their season and some of the best in the world!
