My little rescue girl was like this when I adopted her. Was heartbreaking to see. I just held her close to my heart. It took 3 months for her to decompress from the abuse she endured. Now she's happy and healthy and the light of my life. She's still frightened of certain people.
Ain’t nothing like rescuing an animal in need. And when you do they will forever be at your side. Greatest feeling ever!
It's so sad to see this lil dog shake n tremble. The work n rescues you do for them is just wonderful.

My dog was found on the streets hy his foster Dad. I adopted him about 3 weeks later.
He was very sweet to people, and would approach people sitting down eating something. I think that's how he survived, and rummaging trash cans.
But he wouldn't walk on the side of the streets, always pulling me to walk in the middle, even now. I think he fell down the gutter before, because his eyesight is poor.

It is amazing how dogs that are not as confident as they should be only need that reassurance that everything is going to be ok, taking him downtown and then not leaving him there he knew nothing bad was going to happen so his confidence shined the second visit

This happened to my dog I rescued off the streets. I found her at 3 mo old. I took her near the area I found her, 2 years after. She trembled so badly I couldn't believe it. I think she thought I was gonna dump her!! It's so gross how so many treat other souls as trash 😢

Oh he is so adorable: I see such pain in his beautiful eyes, broke my heart! He deserves to be loved and protected the rest of his life and all animals do! Thank you for helping him! Let’s all get involved and help a stray or abandoned baby have love and warmth: open your homes to foster if you can, donate money, donate food or blankets, pee pads, baby food, liter, wire cages, plastic cages , think of how you can help and if we all pitch in that makes a world of difference to these innocent souls!

Poor pupper, he got scared when he had to go into town the first time after getting rescued as he probably figured he was going to get dumped again. And he handled it better the next as he didn't have the fear and he knew he was safe.
