The film, "The Outpost" covers the battle of COP Keating fairly well. My friend Taylor John Smith portrayed LT. Bundermann in it. After hearing Romesha speak, the production team did a brilliant job of adhering to the event as closely as possible. Well worth watching if you haven't seen it already.
What a great movie, that was the first I'd ever heard of that event, I had no idea when I started watching it on Netflix that it was a true story, then what was really wild was finding out that several of the guys played themselves in it. It's probably the single best movie about an event during the War on Terror because afterwards there wasn't all kinds of controversy over things being greatly distorted by the makers of the film or even by the sources themselves like what's surfaced about some books written by people that as it turns out they changed things quite a bit themselves for reasons best described as self promotion. What I'd like to see is a no BS movie about what really happened at Roberts Ridge especially what Chapman did, Hollywood could change that all they want for dramatic effect and the only thing that'd happen is it'd be less dramatic then what really happened on that hill, I've never even heard of a tale of bravery and sacrifice anywhere even close to what Chapman did much less be able to actually see it on video from a drone, that man just didn't stop, 12 wounds including 2 in the chest and they just couldn't get rid of him, he kept killing Taliban to where he even took out one of their donkeys, what a bad ass he was and no one can dispute the fact that he deserved a MOH, it's a shame however that a certain group tried blocking it though, speaks volumes about them.

Your moms signed for you? Damn, my mom said she'll cut my legs off before she'd let me and my sisters would hold me down lol i am her only son lol
@Barry Obama I was in the Marines from 08-15.
@@benjaminZ20 Yes, I had already taken my ASVAB in the 10th grade. I wanted to be in the Marines since I was a little kid. As I got older I looked at different branches but the Marine Corps was always what it was going to be. I would've liked to stayed and retired but things happen.

Here in 2024 I do hope SSG Romesha is in ...an acceptablle frame om mind. Thank you Sergeant, you always appear conflicted and grief ridden in all the videos I have seen.
OF MIND. Sorry.
Thank you 🙏 ❤🇺🇸for your service.
Thank you, Clinton Romesha, and your Platoon.
An outpost in a valley surrounded by mountains....SMH, speechless.
Glad these people are on my team
Romesha, thank you for your service and sacrifice in support of the greatest country on earth.
As a Brit, I’d say my country is the greatest. I do know though, that it’s not now true, even though I think it is. I’ve no idea of the veracity of this but there’s just been a survey that says that over 51% of ‘Americans’, don’t think the US is the greatest country 🤷♂️.
Hey soldier, glad you made it, sir, thank you and your soldiers and family for your service. P.s, has any body ever told you that you are a look a like to senator Marko Rubio......

True AMERICAN HEROES, Thank you for your Service and Courage.
Thank you. For everything I have
The production has gotten notably better. Perfect story to put a cherry on top. Congrats and thnx for the grind and the content!
One thing I learned in the Marines (1967-1973) is that they don't often send you where you WANT to go. Instead, they send you where you (or your MOS) is NEEDED.
Thx for your service. You are a hero.
Bless this man!!!!!!!!
I wish my grandfather had spoken about his experience in WW2. I know he received the Purple Heart twice. He was at several of the big battles and helped liberate some of the death camps. Per my dad, you had to get him good and drunk for him to talk about it. I have great respect for all in the United States Military. My great grandfather was Navy in WW1, my grandfather Army in WW2 and Korea if I remember correctly , my dad Air Force in Vietnam, and my sister is a doctor in the Navy. She was in Afghanistan. Good bless.
I saw the movie . These men are all American heroes.
Just always remember there is a difference between lives lost and wasted and lives spent your fellow soldiers spent there lives for you
He's a hero & warrior.Thank you!! Funny the army actually asked him to talk to his wife 1st.
