Dear Sir. I am confused. I thought that the STEYX function (standard error of the y-values for each x-value) returns the standard deviation already. Is this standard error in this case scenario not the same as standard deviation? If so, I think one should NOT use the formula sd=SE*SQRT(N). Please confirm.
Here is the question: is it possible to measure the concentrations lower than LOQ? if not, why, here, the first point of this calibration curve is lower than the calculated LOQ (1.2)?
I don't think it's a right method to calculate LOD and LOQ? Standard deviation calculation totally confusing. I have LDI MS peaks intensity in low concentration values. How can I calculate SD, LOD and LOQ?
more samples = more deviation (because of sqrt*n), higher LOD and less precision? is it have any sence? More samples = better precision in classical statistic....
I don't think is the right way to calculate LOD and LOQ. I tried with real samples and the calculated LOD is higher than one standard that the instrument actually read.
Excellent video.I learnt step by step and got value.Thank you for posting very informative video.
came for the explanation, stayed for the tune.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you also. It is pleasure for me.
Thank you 🧡

I put approximate numbers. It is the only for the description of the excel procedure.
@@chemist_isi Even, if you omit the first number, still you will get LOQ higher than the first point of the curve. There is something wrong here.
Could you tell me where did get the formula SD of intercept?

for a guy who watches videos at 2X speed the theme music was quite odd lol but the content was just what I needed. Thank you :)

Thank youuu, you are better than chatgpt :)
Standard deviation of blank ??
Excelent !!!!!!! Thank You very very much for your class.
thank you so much!! that was very helpful!
Video is very good. But audio is very irritating...
