I'm not sure why people were warning about the post-game - the real stinker is File 08, which was almost enough by itself to get me to give up the game completely (and I have a lot of tolerance for jank or just weird design choices). Thankfully most of the god-awful minigames in that chapter are completely optional, because it stands as the biggest reason why I will NEVER 100% the game. Feel free to look up the solutions; eventually I did.
In combat, let up a little bit on the Chain Binds; every bind after the first on the same enemy gets a diminishing return. That said, there is a fairly reliable way to get REALLY cheesy with stunning things - the Beast Legion's Howl. Give it that and Auto-Bind, and the good ol' pupper can keep things locked down for a decent while.
