*I mail in my ballot in Colorado yet before they even open the envelope my signature is checked on the back of it, and then I'm notified via email when my ballot has been counted. I don't have to worry about standing in the wind and rain just to vote.*
Thank you for stating how it works. These right wingers are apparently so incompetent it seems they can't imagine anyone or any organization being able to figure out basic things. Nail in and drop box ballot security is not super simple, but the different state methods have been worked out over many elections. The inner and outer envelope method is pretty common, I gather.
Why no early voting in America? Early voting would cancel out the need to have mail in voting. After all not everyone has the time to vote on election day itself, so by giving people a range of say a week before election day it would give everyone ample time to cast their ballots.
Independent thinking is not a terribly strong trait among Trump's supporters. If you believe what you believe, only because you believe it, then the die is cast. No contest.

I have a Ph.D. (STEM). I run a business. I am in my late 20's. First vote was in 2012, for Obama. I rejected Trump, vociferously, in 2016. I rejected him in 2020. I witnessed the COVID debacle, the censorship, coercion, and threat of force caused by Big Government in collusion with Big Tech and Big Media to promote Big Pharma. I am currently seeing the same people consistently passing the lie that Joe Biden has the mental vitality to run the country, despite that he obviously does not. I have seen the same people corrupting our courts to destroy one man. It caused me to question the election of 2020. If they can corrupt our government as they have today, the same people can surely have corrupted the 2020 election. There is evidence for it. But it is being suppressed, as we have been generally suppressed since at least 2020 and possibly longer. I have serious doubts that you will even see this post, so vigorously has the left adopted censorship as part of its culture even while decrying the right as prone to the execrable practice. I am no fan of Donald Trump. But I am voting for him in November because Democrats are the real monsters against democracy.

Dear Garry Butcher - Trump voted last mid-term election by mail-in ballot and encouraged Republicans to do the same because he realizes now that his previous lies about mail-in ballots probably caused a big drop in his 2020 vote when Republican voters chose not to vote rather than use mail-in ballots.
