    That looked like it was a lot of fun to film. Hey, serious props on the graphics showing the chunk of land sliding into the ocean! That really gave the viewer an idea of the scope of the landslide.
    As always, a great video. Do you two have any plans to attend any expos/conventions coming up, such as Vid Con?

    • @OddityOdysseys
      @OddityOdysseys  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We weren't sure we would even be able to get in, so once we could and that pressure was off, it was a lot of fun! Drew's VFX skills are the best of the best for sure. We would love to go to a convention. Heard about a travel one in Long Beach? Thanks again for all your support!

      Oddity Odysseys A travel expo in Long Beach? No, I haven't, but I'll check it out. I've been to the one the LA Times puts on. BTW, I just uploaded a new review video to my channel this morning. Just a heads up, police are heavily cracking down on trespassers in this area! I would advise anyone to avoid the Sunken City for the time being and the foreseeable future. You can research about people's experiences getting fined for misdemeanors for trespassing. Not to mention that people have been seriously injured and even killed attempting to get in. I wanted to share this warning with you all before you consider venturing out! Go at your own risk!

      Wimp. You're scared you might fall? Well... You are right to be scared. The entire cliff area is notorious for people falling and... You guessed it! Hitting the rocks at terminal speed from the height of 300+ feet. I can almost guarantee an exhilarating but quick demise. And if you are still alive you'll wish you were dead from having every single bone turned into bone meal.

    Near by that place is Fort MacArthur, an old WW2 fort. That is the location where, during WW2, and object, presubably a UFO, appeared over the fort and the military opened fire on the object ultimately causing property damage and killing 2 citizen, one from a heart attack from stress and another from falling shrapnel. This incident is popularly known as the Battle of Los Angeles. To this day no one knows what that object truly was. Every February, the Fort, which is now a museum, does a reenactment of the event with some of their WW2 era equipment and is pretty fun where people dress in period attire and get some food. OO should do a video of that event at some point.

    You pump enough oil out of the ground something's gonna give. Nearby was the 1890-1930's oil boom. I'm not a geologist but I don't think some sill earthquake was the only culprit. Nearly a billion barrels of oil has been pumped out the ground nearby. That's a big cavity to fill.

      Korean Bell is prominently featured in "Usual Suspects". As a kid I explored that whole area. Pt. Fermin, White's Pt, Royal Palms, Cabrillo Beach.Great tide pools for exploring. Pre Trump's ugly golf course. It's failing so hopefully that land will become part of the park system.
