I think you’re supposed to hold the mascara with the curve of your eye, not against it the way you’re holding it. And it doesn’t appear to be meant to be turned, no bristles all around? The way you applied on the lower seems right, do that in reverse on the upper. Interesting! ❤

Caliray is changing the colour correction game. Even perhaps the way we use concealer. Keeping things distracting rather than covering up is a more successful strategy. Striving for perfection is not going to survive a long working day, a mobile face, closeups, wrinkles and dehydration. I want to try that mascara. It feels like it will be a challenge and something to conquer!
I finally bought the Milk jelly tint because three of my most respected makeup youtuber (you, Nikki La Rose and Andrea ali) seem to enjoy them so much! Still waiting for the package 😁 I live in tropical island Bali, my bestie used to be benetint. So i think this would be perfect too for the hot humid weather here!

The feeling of Icon Baby doesn't bother me and in fact reminds me of a MAC Viva Glam mauve that got me compliments all through the 90s. I'm convinced Icon Baby is Charlotte's dupe for it, complete with the glitter. Modesty and Thanks it's MAC are two of my favs too. Great taste! 😉Also $ellout and Patisserie. Syrup and Midimauve were beautiful mauves too. Hug Me was my go-to nude.

I wanted to try the Prada foundation but unfortunately it has chemical sunscreen and I’m pregnant. Why put an spf of 12 in a foundation? It’s not going to provide any protection. I was happy the Louboutin foundation didn’t have spf so I picked it up! Love it. Dior forever matte and ysl all hours also have spf. I wish brands would reconsider for those of us who can’t use chemical sunscreens.
Chemical sunscreen is absolutely safe for pregnancy, FWIW. But this small amount is non-sensical in foundations because it won’t provide appropriate protection since one is not applying the sufficient amount to create a protective layer.
I also could not wear the Prada because of the chemical sunscreen. They break me out. I just ordered the new Sisley Teinte Perfection. It's described as luminous matte but no sunscreen!:)

Icon Baby from CT does have a grit to it, however I personally can only feel it when applying the lipstick. Once on the lips, I never feel any. It is actually very moisturizing and smooth on my lips. Oh and the shade Icon Baby paired with the lip liner - my lips are stunning 👄
I agree, I don't feel it once it's on. It's going to be my new "nude" combo. Very Victoria was my favorite for years, when I didn't want to think - it went with everything. The one you keep in your bag just in case. I look better in cooler tones but I have seen these pink lipsticks on warm toned women and they are still work amazingly well. Charlotte really knocked it out of the park with this collection imo. It's about time she came out with some cool toned pinks!

That mascara wand is an accident waiting to happen for me 😏. The thin bit would for sure smudge on my nose as I tried to apply mascara to the inside corners. Nope! Too gimmicky for me

MAC lipsticks have gone under the radar but will never get old. They are staples.
Wish they get more hype now that lip products are so trendy. They have so many diff formulas and great range of colors and nudes for all skintones.

The Dior highlighter palette has been reformulated -- is it as smooth (non glittery) as the old one?
Yes, I didn’t notice any difference. I asked a Dior employee if it was reformulated and they said it wasn’t so I’m not sure.

The Milk ones? Very different, the Saie are much easier to work with and stay a bit dewy. These dry down very very fast and become a stain.❤️
