Just need both pieces of Quel'Delar and you automatically win. A 1 mana 6/6 weapon that does 6 damage to all enemies after you attack and it always starts in your hand. 72 face damage in 6 turns is preeeettty good.

The escalation is actually the best part (at least in a more skill based-game) because you can see how skilled and bat-shit crazy some gamers are. But in HS it's more luck based, so I can see why it might not be your cup of tea.

So instead of adding many different forms once someone has completed the original competition we should just say, yet it's done? I enjoy the compounded difficulty which occur, but I can see how you get tired of something and switch to viewing something else.

Dungeons runs are great. I actually enjoy them more than ranked play or arena. They need to have some more in future expansions.

Blackseed is an interesting boss to fight late. His Hero Power transforms his cards into random cards that cost 3 more. I had to carefully control all of his minions very carefully until I could kill him. Good boss, fun to fight.

Anyone else having ridiculous trouble winning with the warrior in the dungeon?
I completed most of the other classes on first try. I counted it up and defeated the end bosses with all other classes together in 71 boss kills.
On my warrior the count alone is at 68 already now...
Its really really RNG based, the only useable set to pick is large minions for it, all other are full trash..
in future dungeon run videos can you put some text on the screen referring to what cards trump chose to take?

I don't know how many Warrior dungeon runs I've done, but I've got over 50 bosses downed, and I've never once seen the "Minions that cost more than 5 cost 5" option. Not one goddamn time lol.
Funny thing is I cannot even complete 1 damn run :(. I always die cause bosses got buffed in recent patches and cards got added to their hands so downing them is luck based. That shithead who starts with 4 15/5 minions got me every time. I know I should down him fast, but if you meet him as boss early on... Good luck :)

14:27 Must be a bug, since it deals 1 damage to Patches (for no obvious reason, since the minion is dead at that point) and then an extra 7 to the hero (8 damage total). Pretty sure that got fixed, because I recently tried out that exact same thing in a Dungeon Run and Explosive Runes dealt 0 damage to my minion and 6 damage to my hero.

I've played these dungeons over and over. I watched all 9 of your runs and all I have to say is that Trump Blizzard loves you. Rngesus loves you. Brode loves you. You are just the luckiest Hearthstone player in the world. Good job being the luckiest player on the planet.

Sapphire Would say around 30. He managed to do that in 10 days. So that times around 3 runs every stream. quick maths.
I see a lot of ways to make dungeon runs more compelling in future expansion. the most obvious being, allow people to remove cards from their deck. The fact that they have never done this in limited hearthstone formats yet seems really odd. Removing cards from your deck seems like an absolutely key strategic feature, and while it might make these single player adventures trivially easy for the top tier players, I would think it would make them a lot more interesting and educational for the low and mid tier players.
I just can't imagine how bad the magic the gathering experience would be if you had to play every card you opened in sealed or every card you drafted.

What? that's insane luck to go 9/9. Sure he is a good player but in some scenarios with some of these bosses if you are unlucky there will be nothing you could do to win with the current rng. For example my last shaman run that relied so much on either of 3 cards which all got discarded. Or my last mage run with full spells against the anti spell boss.
ye and with expansions added and few patches later their decks got kind of updated to counter even more. Lazy Blizzard. I felt cheated a few good times. Cause RNG and bosses getting their big guns v. early.

You just have to have 0 loses on the account. This is a different account.
New account does account for the mistakes of that failure. Effectively he made a new account and beat all 9 classes with one attempt each. Encountering a total of 72 bosses.

I get that it's not a pure 100% winrate, but at the same time, are you deducting your previous deck loss's from your variation of it before you've managed to perfect it? I mean, what you people are essentially saying is
"You didn't do it first try(e.g on sight), therefor it doesn't count".which I mean... Come on... This is probably the closest you're going to get, isn't it?
What? It's definitely 100% pure winrate. The account he is playing on has never lost. That's all that matters for this. The contest itself even encourages people to make multiple accounts for this.

Yeah people saying it's "not really perfect because new account" are basically saying that every world records in the history of speedruns aren't really world records because they weren't done first try.
Like, okay, the "new account" is unconventional, but it's just part of the rules. It's like creating a new game, a new save file, on a game that let you do that, except Hearthstone doesn't so you have to be creative.

No, they're complaining because they don't understand that Hearthstone doesn't have a "start a new game" option, and want to include the results from past attempts in the latest one, which is dumb. When someone's playing Mario Kart and finish first on every track, nobody's saying "Not a perfect score, you didn't always finish first during the previous tournament".

If you think that means you won't be affected by it then you need to read up, buddy.
Every American internet company will be affected by the laws, like, Blizzard for example... Their income will take a huge hit because it will be harder for their American customers to access their services so they'll have less money to spend on maintaing the quality of their games.
That's just one example. Think about every main website you use and then Google them and see if they operate out of the US. I guarantee a majority of them do.

Why even let people create accounts to reset their score? It's no different than just making a series of 9 straight wins at that point, just with more waiting between tries.
It's still dumb. If they wanted a "win nine dungeon runs in a row with each class without losing challenge" that's fine. But then, they should've incorporated something in the game so that you don't have to make a new account each time you fail an attempt.
They're gonna end up with a *bunch* of dead accounts from which these runs were attempted, while they could've just had the game itself track your wins - letting you know about the current streak and what classes you need to play with to keep it going.
IvanSensei88 It's a fair point, but they don't have all the time in the world. Why write code (which could turn out buggy) for a feature that so few people are actually going to use? Blizzard invested their time making the Dungeon Runs awesome, and let hardcore kids like Trump do the legwork. Everyone wins.
I think they need to prove beyond any doubt that it was indeed a perfect run, and the ingame tools are kinda limited. Basically you gotta have 8 bosses defeated with 1 dungeon clear (both stats represented ingame) for every class or they can't check 100% that it's legit.
Well, they do have a way of checking it. The game tracks how many bosses you have defeated and how many successful dungeon runs you have with each class. So if anyone claims to have completed it, they should have 8 Boss kills and 1 Dungeon clear on each class - really easy to check.
But I still think that writing a temporary code would've been better than having a flood of new useless accounts.
Also while coding may seem scary and buggy ( blizzard is notorious for their buggy code after all) it would be painfully easy to just have one more variable holding the current win streak , it would be almost impossible to fuck that up .
But i guess they dont have a prob with dead accounts, they may also want that to happen, so that they can claim they have a bigger playerbase, i cant even think for another reason they would prefer that.

The biggest advantage Trump possesses in this challenge is that he gets paid for his time and the average player does not. I'm sure he would take less restarts than most people, but using restarts at all is a huge time investment that most people would not make for free.

Yes. The rules asks for a new account. And even without a new account, the losses from your previous attempts obviously don't count in your new attempt. If you're playing Dark Souls and finish the game without dying, you don't say it's not perfect because you died in your previous run.
Yeah. When you make a new account that's a new attempt at 9-0. What happened on previous accounts really doesn't matter in this context.
