Who are Kara and Nate?!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

I did not think it was going to impact me this way but I broke crying when he crossed the red ribbon line. What an accomplishment for Russ and how all the runners supported him on his last leg of the journey
It's strange to feel pride of two people I don't personally know, but every video I burst with it because Kara and Nate are just so tenacious and dedicated.
Edit: Congrats on yet another new country added to the ever growing list.
My mother passed away recently. She fought a long battle with Alzhiemers. Yall are the first TH-cam'ers I followed 4 years ago. I'm from Memphis as were my parents, they then retired in Kingsport, TN. Yall's videos have brought me so much joy and a diversion during all my difficult times. Thanks for bringing the joy to those who need it.

Humbling, emotional, inspiring. I got goosebumps when he crossed the finish line. Russ should be publicly recognised by the King with an OBE at the very least for this truly incredible feat. A man, a myth, a legend. And congrats Nate for pushing through in the heat and making it to the end. Fantastic video and now I'm off to donate.
Nate is amazing. I just started running and it's daunting to think about a marathon and Nate just flies to another country and does a marathon on day 2 after a one hour run prep. Phenomenal work guys, love how you live your lives. Champion attitudes
As someone from the UK I know Russ from Geowizzard's kicking a football across England, he's an absolute beast and I love that K&N have been able to join in with his momentous achievement across Africa.
Cannot imagine anything more cool that watching Kara and Nate run with the Hardest Geezer and support him so strongly. It is such a great mission for him to complete.

Tears streaming down my face when Russ ran across the finish line . I did not know about this guy and I am British - where have I been ?? Russ is a legend in his own lifetime , and , as someone else put he definitely deserves an OBE. Wow, Russ is a remarkable man! Absolutely has the biggest heart for donating every cent! He is truly a great, and will go down in history as such! I can't imagine having that level of willpower and sheer determination. I can say the same for Kara and Nate. They have inspired me time and time again! I can't overstate the gratitude I have for being able to see them grow this channel and build their career and life of their dreams! 2016 wasn't that long ago! Just goes to show you that if you truly want something and have that sheer determination with a bit of inspiration, we to can have the life we most desire.

Small? wtf? Tunisia is roughly the size of Great Britain, that's England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland 4 countries combined! But as a Tunisian/German i find it cool that Tunisia stayed hidden in plain sight. don't want it to be swarming with tourists like Greek islands or Italy.
