Nighat Chaodhry Live at The Colony

Internationally acclaimed kathak artist, Nighat Chaodhry performed at our choreography showcase, Sway With Us volume 3.
This is a three part performance; The first piece is a salutation to Hazrat Ali, surrendering at the door of spiritual knowledge. The second piece is a tarana in theentaal. The last abhinaya piece is about a betrayed woman who awaits her beloved all night and on his return early morning is brokenhearted by his betrayal and rejects him by pushing him out of her heart and home.
