Tracie, you really hit on some good points in this video! I agree with you that both parties have some despicable things/issues going on. Some of my family members are a little upset that I’m saying I’m not going to vote because I can’t in good conscience vote for either candidate. All I can say is “Come Jesus, come!!!” Also, I’ve been thinking about doing a detox, too. I’m subscribed to Dr. Bobby Price and have learned so much from him. Can’t wait to share your detox journey with you and Chris. Have a blessed week, sister! ❤️🙂❤️

Hi Linda! Yesss- I’ve contemplated not voting either and many people say that that’s giving a vote away, but it’s so hard when I really do not like either candidate for various reasons- mostly biblical reasons. But like I said, we just have to stay in prayer and praying that the Lord will give me a clear choice to vote for, and that’s about all I can do at this point. I will surely keep you all updated on the detox and hope to be able to help anyone trying to decide whether to do it or not- have a blessed and joy filled week!!! 🤗🙏🏽💗

You got DEEP today with this video!
AGING: Aging is not for the weak and very sad sometimes. I had such a great, fun and wonderful childhood, youth, teenage years, early adulthood, etc., it has been hard accepting the fact I will never be able to return to those years/times; to know that at 51, certain things I did as a younger person, I can't do anymore and are not appropriate at 51; to know I can't do things the same anymore, as I did when I was younger... It's all been challenging.
Aging became REAL to me when I turned 33. For that entire year, I felt off. I was fulfilled in my career at that time, so that wasn't an issue. Despite this, I would go to court; return to my office; and feel so empty. Everything was going great at the time- I was openly dating different guys-being a Bachelorette, just as I always wanted; active at my church; had a great career; & was overall happy, but something was missing, or so the devil made me feel. It was if I was going through a metamorphosis; an evolution. It was the strangest feeling. I had never felt that way before. I didn't want to come across as being ungrateful; as if I wasn't thankful to God.
I'm the 2nd youngest of 10 children (9 girls & 1 boy). Hence, at that same time, I would ask my sisters why they never discussed aging; that it was so hard. They basically said they never discussed it because they just accepted it was a way of life; an unavoidable occurrence.
Towards the end of my 33rd year, this wise older woman came into my office. She was a consultant I respected. We had a long talk about how I had been feeling during the course of the year. She listened and assessed me quietly. When I was done speaking, she just looked at me. She said to me: "Tanisha: You're a very spiritual woman; and you're really close to God. Jesus was 33 when He left this earth; and because of your close connection to/relationship with Christ, you're feeling this way-so very deeply-at age 33." What she said struck me so truthfully, accurately, deeply and personally, I began to cry even more. It resonated in and with me so intensely because God sent her there to tell me that (She didn't have an appointment. She just happened to pop into the office that evening); give me some insight/understanding and solace; and console me. I felt better and more at peace for the rest of the year.
Since then, aging has been okay. I've taken it with stride. When I was about 48, I started to talk to God about my period. I told God how much I couldn't stand periods; that I was so tired of the entire process of periods-the bleeding, pads, sleep deprivation (I was obsessed with making sure I didn't get a drop of blood on my panties. Hence, I sleep-trained myself to be able to sleep in a certain position so that I could control the direction in which the blood would flow. Hence, I would get up several times a night to release the blood into the toilet. It sounds yucky, but it's REAL TALK and was effective!), etc. I, therefore, asked God to end my period, and HE DID! Some may say the timing corresponded with menopause, but I don't care. My period stopped, and I haven't had a period in a few years!

And, yes, you have to stop saying “I’m not” and start saying “I Am” and call those things that be not as though they are! Our words are powerful and the catalyst for creation. Regarding politics: Unfortunately, in the USA, our choices are becoming more and more about choosing between the lesser of two evils as opposed to the best candidate for the job.

Hey sister! This is a great vlog. Thank you for not being afraid to touch on our political stand as Christians. Yes, we are to ask the Lord to show us which way is closest to His word. How we vote shows the content of our heart and morals. Christians should vote and not be silence, especially at the times we are in today. As the church we have got to put away culture and our feelings and follow wholly as close to the Word of God. Thanks you for taking a stand to at least bring light to your viewers to be led by the Lord and search the scriptures to know what is right and wrong.

    • @traciesplace

Hi Keesha! Thank you so much, I appreciate that!!! Yes, we must obtain God’s wisdom and not lean on our own. Some people do not even think about the scripture that clearly includes “and lean not into yourown understand understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path “. There is a way that seems right unto man (that the Word lets us know) that isn’t what God would have us to do- so we should clearly avoid just thinking we know the natural (flesh satisfying to ourselves) answers. I mean people tickle me sometimes if it weren’t so sad 😞 Have a blessed and wonderful week Sis! 🤗🙏🏽💗

I agree that our Christian beliefs must be shared as well as our moral positions that impact our politics. However, I think as we share, we have to share in love with civility. Sometimes our passion about a subject can come across as hateful, haughty, without compassion, and definitely without a willingness to listen to other perspectives. In my job I can't tell you how many times i feel like we are having to referee the level of arguments that happen on a middle school playground but with grown folks in a professional work environment. Social media posts make there way to work conversations and the complaints roll in. It's a tough balance and definitely requires prayer and thought before sharing across those proverbial aisles. God help us all as we try to navigate this world.

You're so very right re: all of these people quoting and posting popular and "light"/easygoing scriptures in the Bible as clichés and without authority, or understanding. They only want to post the words/scriptures that make them feel good and comfortable. They don't want to embrace, study, or know the unadulterated Word of God because this would mean they would have to change their lifestyles; rid their lives of certain people, things, or behaviors; and live for God. They don't want to pick up their cross, and follow Him. True Christians die to the flesh, and reject the things of the world thar are in contrast, enmity, or defiance of/to Christ. We're NOT perfect, but we have the heart of Christ. We are CALLED and CHOSEN.
The sad thing is they don't understand, or know they can't have a relationship with God if they don't know His Word, or He IS the Word. Everyone wants to go to Heaven, but refuse to accept the fact that everyone's not going to Heaven. They want to reap the benefits of Christianity without sowing seeds to make it to our eternal home. (The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few). They don't want to live for Christ, or have the Heart of Christ, but expect to make it to Heaven, and live in His Heavenly home. They don't understand that we're sending up our timber EVERY DAY to make it.
Christianity/salvation is a GIFT; and Heaven is a prepared place for prepared and steadfast people/true believers.
The world/social media/the Internet deludes people to believe that they're going to Heaven no matter what. It's a trick of the enemy that is every effective. This is where witnessing and interceding come in. They must understand that the Bible says if we LOVE God, we'll LIVE for Him-even with all of our flaws, imperfections and indiscretions.
Ultimately, it's fine that people post and quote scriptures. My prayer for them is that they internalize, learn, study and meditate in the words they speak and the Word Itself/post and GET SAVED, if they're not.

POLITICS: Back-in-the-day, we had the luxury of saying that it was not proper etiquette to discuss politics, race and religion in the workplace and in other places for that matter. However, things are VERY DIFFERENT now. Politics impact our livelihood, way of life and well-being in such a very direct, overt and personal way now, politics MUST be analyzed and discussed.
What's going on right now is ABOVE and BEYOND being a Democrat, or Republican. This is an age-old battle of GOOD vs. evil.
We're literally fighting for our LIVES, HUMANITY & DEMOCRACY.
Before the Donald Trump "Era of Terror," the Republican party was known as the "party of family values." Republicans largely represented the Bible Belt. Hence, many Christians-white and black-voted Republican. It was safe and uncomplicated to do so. The Democrats have always been considered to be the Liberal party; the party of the people.
Despite both political parties, I'm an independent thinker.
Fast forward to now... We're outside of the scope and practice of "reaching across the aisle." Things are too tribal. The Republican "Trump Party" is so extreme, racist and unethical, there’s no reasoning with such wickedness. Evil is irrational and unreasonable. Prayers are all that can be done at this point.
Donald Trump has been positioned and hoisted up to be the "leader"/spokesperson for the "party of family values," although he's been married three (3) times; cheated on all of his wives; married his mistresses; paid off a porn star he slept with to keep quiet so that his chances to win the presidency weren't ruined; and mistreated one of his daughters because she's not attractive. Let's start there...
In addition, he is a convicted felon on 34 counts (Felons can't even vote, hence, he shouldn't be on the ballot in ANY state); found civilly liable for sexual assault; was impeached TWICE; led an insurrection against the U.S.; insults and makes mockery of disabled people; betrayed U.S. Intelligence by saying he trusts Russia's leadership over U.S. Intelligence; tried to steal an election; disrespects and insults the military; attacks and insults black by saying things like blacks like criminals, mugshots and gym shoes; immigrants are trying to take "black jobs;" and made racial insults during his rallies; lied over 22,000 times while he was in office, which is public record (Let's not forget: The devil is a liar); vows to end democracy by taking away the right to vote and running the country as if he is a king; name-calls EVERYONE; had the Republicans block an immigration bill that would have been record breaking and effective so that it wouldn't be passed during Joe Biden's Administration-as a Biden achievement/success; assisted in causing the deaths and illnesses of millions of Americans due to his deficient, incompetent and inefficient leadership, etc. His mishaps go on and on...
Project 2025 says it ALL. Donald Trump is trying to take our rights away; not protect and preserve them. He wants us to live in a system where he's an authoritarian dictator who rules like a king. He wants us to be in a system whereas we'll never be able to vote again; and control the reproductive rights of women. He wants to set us back for centuries-even before the American Revolution/1776. Hence, voting for Donald Trump would be a vote against humanity and decency. It would ultimately be voting for evil. Full stop.
Further, Donald Trump represents and promotes all manners of hate, and God is a God of LOVE. Hence, Donald Trump is the antithesis of God. He's the adversary. Accordingly, I have no reservation, or hesitation in deciding not to vote for him. He shouldn't even be on the ballot because he's a convicted felon. He's a poster boy for yt supremacy and racism, and therefore, should not be the leader of the free world, or any other world.
I often say to people that if God allows Donald Trump to become the POTUS again, it will be because He is about to destroy America just like Sodom and Gomorrah, for all of its atrocities, sins, stains, oppression; refusal to protect children and do what's right; history of yt supremacy; the shedding of innocent blood; etc.,
As for Donald Trump's supporters/followers, there is NO sane, legitimate, reasonable or intelligent reason to vote for/support Donald Trump. He represents and advocates for hate division and tyranny; and spews venom ALL THE TIME. Hence, voting for/supporting him means these people support, embrace and advocate for the same things. He doesn’t even have a platform, which he brags about. He said he doesn’t need a platform, or policies; that his people will follow him no matter what because they're dumb. He lies about EVERYTHING and flip flops his positions to deceive people and make them believe he's going to do the right thing.
Accordingly, I understand why people stop speaking to family members and friends who support and follow Donald Trump. We don't have to entertain constant lies, hate and toxic people just because they're "family." Many of these people have tried to educate and inform their Trump-supporting family members, to no avail. Even the Bible says once we've taught people and given them the Word, if they still refuse to believe/adhere, our Christian duty is done; that some people are going to be fools. We can pray for people from afar; intercede; and that can be that.
As far as the sin/Christianity issues are concerned, YES there are sinful issues at play on both sides. The Democratic Party tends/strives to represent and protect the rights of ALL Americans. For example, abortions are a sin. Most Democrats are "pro-choice," which allows women to choose what they want to do with their bodies. God allows us to have free choice, hence, if a woman chooses to have an abortion, she must take it up with and be chastised by God. This is none of our business. That's between that woman and God. This is the same for all sins.
Further, I don't know about Ohio, but Christians don't have to vote a straight-party ticket. We can vote NO on issues that conflict with our Christianity.
With all of this said, there's a CLEAR CHOICE: VOTE FOR THE HARRIS-WALZ ticket!
I'm voting for KAMALA HARRIS because she's the VERY BEST PERSON for the job at this moment/juncture-especially compared to a low-life, idiot and ignoramus like Donald Trump. She's HIGHLY QUALIFIED and CREDENTIALED. Professionally, she's been a successful and tough prosecutor, Attorney General, Senator and Vice President for almost 4 years.
Kamala Harris is a part of an Administration that successfully got the US through a global pandemic that crippled and destroyed economies; stabilized the country after an insurrection led by Donald Trump; balanced the US economy and prevented us from going through a recession; provided military aid and assistance to our allies-Ukraine and Israel; canceled billions of dollars of student loans for millions of Americans; passed an economic bill that sustained the economy; has the lowest unemployment rate in history; facilitated record job growth; appointed the First Black Female Supreme Court Justice; signed Juneteenth into law as a federal holiday; investigated and stopped price gauging re: food and gas; passed a bill re: at least some form of gun control/reform in an effort to address mass/school shootings and prevent classrooms of children from being slaughtered-and these are just SOME of the highlights of the Biden-Harris Administration.
Kamala Harris has a BRILLIANT mind. She's STRONG, NO NONSENSE, FEARLESS, FORMIDABLE, AMBITIOUS and will represent the interests of ALL AMERICANS. Hence, she's SO MANY THINGS and HAS SO MANY ATTRIBUTES and REDEEMING QUALITIES/SKILLS before one even gets to the fact that she will be the FIRST BLACK FEMALE POTUS.
She's NOT PERFECT and has had indiscretions, however, we can't allow perfect to be the enemy of good. Compared to Donald Trump, she's a SAINT.

Thank you for your reflective comment.
I would like to leave a little food for thought..... It's disjointed/fragmented because the tubes-of-you deletes many of my comments. Apologies in advance for the lack of flow.
As you stated in your comment, one party reflected more conservative/Biblical beliefs, and many in that party still hold those beliefs.
The other party represents womb assassination (death), redefining God's definition of marriage (defilement)(debauchery), physical and medical mutilation of children (dismemberment), censorships (dictators), ....... I'll stop there, you get the picture. Blatantly anti-Biblical.
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. He who is without sin, cast the first stone.
Sometimes God uses the base things of this world to confound the wise. He used Paul, persecutor of Jesus, to deliver His message to the gentiles.
I get this nagging feeling that God is testing us. Will we stand on His word in every aspect of our lives?
If I were to vote, it would be Christ over color. Policy over personality. Country over category.

Good morning Tracie! I make mention of Romans chapter 1 often. Just made mention of it very recently when talking with someone. Also, some other things you said I agree with too. Such as "being Doers of the Word, not hearers only...from the book of James. And yes, most people just want to quote/post scriptures that talk about blessings and things they want to hear; but we must receive the whole counsel of God, all of the Word.❤

Hello Tracie! I always find value with your content. I study the Word because it sustains and nourishes me. This world is evil, including these politicians with their agendas. I typically don’t discuss politics with many. Folks wear their feelings on their sleeves. It’s ridiculous.
