Diesel buses are cheaper to matain than electric buses because they are easier to replace parts, and also, you dont need to buy expensive diagnostic equipment to fix diesel buses. The problem with electric buses is that they are hard to fix for example, finding replacement batteries and fix parts of an electric motor and also finding people who have the experience to fix them.
And less total emissions. But registry’s here in Sweden for example register public buses that specifically are fueled with bio-diesel as normal diesels, forcing operators to switch over to CNG, hybrid or EV’s.
facts but theres nothing stopping bus companies getting more used to getting equipment as these electric vehicles expand more and it gets easier to find resources to fix them with
Everything you mentioned is the issue with current diesel buses. Impossible to fix a diesel bus without fancy technology and to repair them can take days. Don't have that issue with an EV, 1 moving part....compared to 1100 in a combustion enginr
The main reason is actually infurstructer... most bus stations outaide london are single door operative. And same with the bus stops. On top of that maintenece cost with the rear doors. The other reason is that must reginaol buses are between 10-12 metre which operate on a half hourly bases so having more seat capacity is what needed on top of that londons metropolitan area host up to 9ml people meaning a quicker stopping times are needed.
I absolutely love these and the standard ones - Truly a fleet worthy of the future of Warrington 👌
They are nice, but personally for EVs I prefer E400EVs or Electroliners 💀
Beautiful buses, superb livery, Warrington are going to have a very smart fleet soon 🤩 And a nice video too btw 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video
I’m having my test drive on the BZL on Thursday for when they enter service with metroline… can’t wait to be honest haha
Have a good drive! 😀
love the design
I can't wait to see these in Manchester
Same, that'll be an interesting sight
@glitchFan2428 yeah last week I saw the new streetdeck and today I think I saw the E400 EV
is there a resson why the livery is yellow now?
Ride the single bus of these to college every morning such a nice ride and I get about an hour ride too so w
Glad that you enjoy the journey!
Camera mirrors look much more modern.
I agree!

@wharris302 What happens if the electric buses caught fire?
Speaking of BZL,
road tax for 4007T has since been renewed and has been spotted on the roads again today around west coast.
Ooo that's nice!
Quite a tall bus wondering if there height limit in certain routes and wonder if the interior light can change to different color
@@resketless hmmm if I'm not wrong the interior light gets brighter slightly at stops? Unless I'm imagining it
@@glitchFan2428they do then dim again when moving off
what is the name of the reverse chime? 😍
No idea, white noise maybe 🤔
@@glitchFan2428 ok dokes :-)
''move''
@@UncleGamer077 whatever duh 😘
No USB power?
Have, between the seats at the bottom
@@glitchFan2428 got ya
Warrington's BZL's are now upsized!
Indeed!!
Electric cars are no longer selling.😊 Makers are cutting back on making them
Different Bodywork than 4007T
Yeah this is MCV body
I wonder why British buses only have one door for most busses?
I presume fare evasion is one of the reasons, but then again London has dual door buses so ...
Its probably to save costs

Except from the small amount of black and the animal on the sides towards the front, the livery is so basic
@@That1TransportLover yeah it seems like they want to keep it simple...
