Very nice experience bro! But be sure the fish surely died from the way you put your hand in the gills although you released it!!! You also need stronger rod than that if you want to fight bluefin tunas, at first when it cut the braid i thought your rod broke!!! Very lucky to stop it even though the size isn't too big, no more than 35 kilos!! Theses are torpedoes!! Keep up and tight lines!!!

@@NANOFISHk8 as regards tunas just for your information even if it goes away the fish dies from heart attack due to gill damage and generally if you want to release any fish don't put your hands in the gills. For sure not a lot of us focus on tunas but they are in the sea too!! Haha!! I also fish from the shore and on the past two years I've fought around 35 fish in several sizes but none of them was land based because the place doesn't help me to follow them. I don't have any chanel with videos but i might create one someday. You were lucky because the fish was small around 35 kilos (not more) if it was bigger things would have gone wrong like the first one. Keep up!! the video is nice, lots of action lots of energy...formidable opponent indeed. try not to grab a fish that you intend to release from its gills, microbes in our hands and fingers can be fatal to them. Tunas are fast torpedoes (75-80kmh) warm blooded that need to eat and move always to keep their body temperature and that's what they do. After such a struggle while fighting against a rod and a human, their body gets full of lactic acid and probably they can end up dead, easy meal for something smaller or bigger. Smaller ones start bleeding from the gills due to the muscle effort and their veins break up, that's death for sure. I 'd personally keep the fish, not for the thrill or for claiming it as a trophy (which is logical and accepted too), but more for completing its cycle, catch cook eat and let it evolve through myself (and the rest of the table tenants). May be alien to many this approach but that's just a personal statement. I am pro for releasing fishes, but there are occasions prohibiting it. *under no circumstances i am saying you did right or wrong, you did what you wanted to and judged proper.

Very nice fight bro but u released dead fish if u know anything obout tuna species they bleed out and die from heart atack and u put your hand in its gills worst thing u can do to any tuna species... I dont have problem with it just dont release dead fish
