Dan, you have been my favorite and most inspiring BMX rider for going on ten years now. Every time I watch a video of yours, I admire the creativity in your small jibs-clanking a peg on the quarter as you scoot off of it, bonking a tire on a random object while 180ing, using a tight and small space to do wild but buttery tech. Add to that the creative way you frame and shoot everything and leave it ambient much of the time, it feels so unique and heightens the experience. Thanks for sharing your radness the way you do. You rip.
That is a lot of sweet riding on different spots, easy to relate …even if its hard to reach such a high bike control and steez. A vidro that makes you want to go ride and explore every little possibilities. 🎉🎉🎉 bravo
Absolutely wonderful video. The most shocking thing is that even without music it is such a nice video/ Pure essence and beautiful ambient natural sounds/ Without hyping it up with music/ It still slaps like anything out there/ PURE DRIPPING ART/
Absolutely beautiful riding and filming dude. Mind blowing actually. And I freaking love the raw sound edit. As another guy commented, it captures the true essence of shredding. Fabulous work 🙌
@@danfoleybmx - Yeah, I loved bringing people to a spot and they can't find a single place to do a trick then I bust out 6 spots.... 😂 If you ever come to South Central PA LMK and I'll come ride w/ you... 😁👍
So so clean and beautiful! This made my day. Wow. So much shizz going on in the world it seems, but this dude is a reminder of the incredible capability of beauty in our souls. I Know... flakey right? Ha. Seriously this guy is, for real, a true artist. Thanks Dan
Thanks! I have a 12-60mm Lumix lens that I use more than anything else, so I'd go with that. It has so much versatility and it has a smooth zoom that holds focus if I'm filming someone else.
Most of my attention goes to the noisy hub. Some thinking about causality and the task oriented nature of human conciousness. Oh look that man over there keeps whirling around.
That was at a shut down mall where the entrance to the garage was right next to the spot, so luckily I was able to monitor if anyone rolled up. I do my best to remain aware of the surroundings, but there's always an element of uncertainty
@@danfoleybmx appreciate the reply! It caught my eye as one of the furthest tripod shots. I love the creativity and vision you have in setting up these angles- even with a phone and a gorillapod I’ve been able to get some nice angles but I’m always looking for more creative places to film from!
Thanks a lot. I only want to watch ambient BMX videos now. I used to think my music was so cool and better than yours, now-a-days I know my music is awful and yours is too. Keep it to yourself.
Dan's riding is almost exactly how I would like to ride my bike
Thank you!!
Dan Foley with that ASMR Bmx Edit.
Hahahaha!!! I was just thinking about how Dan’s edits remind me of listening to basketball games, and how god damn pleasing the squeaks are 😂🤘
You always capture the essence of bmx to me. Your style , filming and editing just make me want to ride. Amazing work!
Very much appreciated!
Dude you're a bmx genius, seriously. Spot selection, trick selection, technique, creativity.
Thank you!!

Thanks so much Brandon! I appreciate the comment and the support over the years!
What a legend, BMX is the best we are so lucky to have it!
i love that style, where it's more about dialing tricks and steeze, over just learning the next big thing. It more aesthetic!
More riding videos please. Such a cool video with just the sounds…..style like no one else. 🔥 🔥

Thank you! So many possibilities on a bmx bike, so this is awesome to read!
No robot/circus tricks
Only flow and pure joy
This is bmx guys
This is incredible and makes me so calm and happy. Thanks for shredding and sharing! ❤✌️
Whaaatttttss!!
Unbelievable bike control, smooth and creativity. !!!

Breath of fresh air! So nice to just hear the sound of the bike and the environment instead of an obnoxious song.

Thanks so much!
Always consistently smooth...
OH, COME ON!!!
*starting to cry by realizing how bad I am
Hell yeah Dan! Ever since the BikeGuide days, still love the way you ride.
Thanks Andy! Your tables/turndowns still inspire me many years later
Such a high skill level of technically creative riding
The riding is sick but this sound is gonna be great to fall asleep to.
hahah thank you! This helped make all the time smoothing out the audio worth it
Some of my favorite type of riding spots are ones that don't look like a spot where you can't do tricks... Great video, thank you. 😁👍
Mine too. I love one that makes you scratch your head for a sec. Thanks!

Amazing riding and filming!
Beautiful video. Congrats 👏🏻
Beautiful and precise stunning work👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!
Dope. Nice style and flow. Respect. Smooth asf. Making this video look easy. Foot plants were nice and unexpected. Nice job o. Video and edit. Sick
You could write a book about composition with this video alone.
Thanks so much! A lot of the shots were composed with vertical cropping in mind, so it means a lot seeing that it was still up to par
So much style and tech. One of the best! Love it!
I could spend hours watching this guy riding
I really enjoy these dude. I love the effort that goes into every clip! Cheers from Pittsburgh 🖤💛
Thank you!
Love every single clip of this video!
Lotta great bites nibbles and whole moves

Thanks! Hopefully the rest of the season doesn't drag on too long
Best vid, best style 👌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you!
4:15 looks like such a fun spot 😍
It's a rad one for sure
3:50min so original 🔥
If you could only shoot with one lens, what would you choose? I'm very inspired! Amazing work!

Dialed! How slowed down are the slow mo clips? It doesn't seem like its quite 1/2 speed. I really enjoy those shots.
Thank you! There's a mix of 80% and 40%. I'll shoot some stuff in 60p, then do whatever feels right in the 24p timeline.
Thanks! That is good to know. I appreciate it! @@danfoleybmx
Song title? 😂
High grade in all aspects, as ever. Not least those dreamy turndowns and tables

That clip at 2:40 - was it atop a parking garage? Do you lock up your camera somehow or just hope for the best?

@@billyarlew Thank you! Finding an angle that's unique to the spot and works with the trick is def such fun part of the process

Well, I only watch vegan ambient BMX videos!
I hope you find some friends to ride with.
Good stuff otherwise.
I’m sure he has friends but he probably is riding alone because it’s peaceful and he can focus on the cinematography aspect of it
Fantastic.
ESMOOVE 🤌🏽
