Gasquet's LeCog shoe is so obviously a takedown from his old ASICS shoes. I love it. He is so hesitant to change anything. He used the same stick and old Lux string his whole adult career and the same old ASICS for like 6 years. That is probably why he isnt in the new LeCog shoe
So I got a pair of these since I like LCS and seeing your praise for the shoes. Firstly as soon as I received them I couldn't help notice the many similarities to Nike Vapor 9/9.5. Did you notice the same thing? Also, and this is only my personal opinion, the sizing seems narrower and shorter than other brands so I would have gone at least half size up if I could. Lastly I have had quite a few tennis shoes which were more plush and comfortable. So overall I'm a bit disappointed but at least I like the aesthetics of it :)
What's the deal behind all these players wearing old models? Brands keep providing them new outdated custom PE's? I'm not a tennis player, but I'm really into sneakers and sports marketing 😬 And just so you know, you got a subscriber from Brazil! Cheers!
Also thre old shoes are better. The Cage 3 rafa wears is better than the other Nike models they have produced for him the past few years. Also see Grigor in the Vapor tour 9.5, in my view the best ever shoes. Nikes newer shoes are all inferior to that shoe
Haha thanks- unfortunately with court shoes sometimes they only are offered by certain sites so i dont even try anymore as its impossible to track all of it

Thanks I’m glad you like them- weird it only comes in men’s- I like these more than the 8’s and Solution speeds but not the court ff2 - also depends on your game- these are more nimble but the ff2 more rugged
Great video. Would love to try em. Current college tennis player here. I've been using ubi 4s but want a little more padding underfoot without the weight of the shoe being to heavy. Should I get barricades, stick with ubi 4s or would you recommend something else?
Love the look of it tho.... Side question, played 3 days in a row for one hour ( not intense) and my right arm is now hurting 😭 How much tennis is too much tennis in your professional opinion ?
What shoe would you recommend for a gal who is on their feet for 12 hours per day? I have not found something that holds up and it needs to be a wide fit! Thank you!

Barricade is a nice pound for pound option but not if you’re wide- the solution speed ff2 is similar too with more under the ball
Wish they come in a color other than white. Would get dirty so fast I believe

Midsole looks so soft. Does it bottom out really fast?
I can’t see it lasting like boost but it’s got a lot of support from the shank so I’d say medium durability nothing crazy long lasting

Yes but itll fit snug, break in a bit wider so depends on if you like that feel

I’d say most durable to stress for long periods and also wider fitting would be diadora blushield 5

In some ways yeah- uppers much more comfortable, fit is much nicer- but I like the GP turbo midsole better
