Awesome, classy cars... I just added my most comprehensive video yet of my top 25 sports cars of all time...take a look: th-cam.com/video/bp7ISIkSMuk/w-d-xo.html
Mine is a 2001 slk320 with less than 30,000 miles. No rock chips, scratches, dents, bumps, smudges or anything no of the like. Interior is immaculate like new, and its outside is magma red! I wouldn’t say that yours is the best in the United States. There are others out there that are just as well kept and with less miles. Dealers are always deceiving people.
mind you dont spill your coffee at 70 or 80 mph you might just make a noise, oh forgot he said you can carry out a normal conversation at high speed, well if you spill your coffee you certainly will be making a loud noise, like yelp!!!
Thank you so much for taking a look EMOX! Now that we are in Hawaii, we are re-launching the channel in just a few weeks...so hopefully we'll have some great new stuff for you...including new audio and video.
All glass has to be up to the original manufactures standard other wise it will get a certificate if compliance and so cannot be sold what sort of dodgey nation allows below standard manufacture on safety critical parts.my family have be motor dealers since the 1940s and we have never come across windscreens that are not exactly the same spec as the manufactures the fact that there are limited windscreen maker and Mercedes dont make there own windscreens it one of the major manufacture a thinner glass would not fit and would meet the safety ce Mark. Sorry used car sale bs going on here
In all humility and aloha, that isn't 100% accurate. All glass has to pass minimum safety standards, that part is true, but zero aftermarket parts are required to be the exact same quality as the original. That's why so many aftermarket windshields are wavy, because they're just cheap. Mercedes glass is different however since they use it as part of the structure of the vehicle (and Porsche and others), which is why purists would never dream of getting aftermarket glass...or aftermarket anything else other than for customization.
I made the mistake of buying a replacement windshield that was not Mercedes glass. It’s noticeably louder when it rains. I wish I saw this video before trying to save a couple bucks.
Kinda a big assumption about this guys intelligence based on a few drops falling on his head. You think you know more about cars because you would wipe water off a roof. The guy sells cars for a living.
Dude I've heard a lot of s**t loud Europeans in my life at least we have good teeth and take a shower twice a day if you want to go full on douche mode..I own this same car and it's a rocketship..I love sliding on up all meek and stuff and then I step on the gas and blast off..and your in the dust...
I absolutely lost it when I saw it was a 6MT. Super rare spec. The 6MT is so buttery smooth especially with the V6.
Had mine for 2 years now . Just hit 70,000 miles and had no issues yet besides the automatic roof

I’m looking into one at 97k miles.. have you had any issues so far mechanically? And is maintenance expensive?
What a great video. Looking at one soon from a friend. Thanks so much for the great video and you got a sub for sure

Maybe he means for sale, nobody sells their SLK!
Great review, thank you for the information!
Kaloyan Beshev Glad to do it...let me know if you ever have any questions that I can answer.
Does the car have to be cranked to let the hard top up?
Test drive OK?
6 speed manual steal of a car
You rarely see them in a 6 speed Zack, but if you find one they are an awesome buy.
I got my 6 speed for 3K

I fully agree . An incredible value for money.
Just curios what was the price of the car and is this vehicle a bad choice for winter driving?
There are better choices for driving in snowy conditions.
It has a winter setting on the gearbox

is it raining throughout the video or what the fuck happened to the sound?

It should be titled "In 10 minutes, you'll be an expert on the SLK320."
anthony ho My boss would be the first to agree I talk way too long.
Still, a nice overview. If I didn't already have an SLK, I'd get one from you (I'm in SW Washington). Good job, even if it was longer than 3 minutes.
is this still relevant or the car is already sold?
Chen Tzur It is sold...thank you so much for taking a look Chen.
I picked one up in silver yesterday in Virginia.
Is this car still for sale? 😆

I have it’s not hard, we’re loud but we got a lot to say!
