You can think of Yaw Pitch Roll as the movements you might be controlling if you are flying an aircraft: pitch is your nose up/down while tail is down/up - and back to straight; roll is one wing high/low the other low/high - and back to straight; yaw is tail skewing left/right while nose is skewing right/left - and back to straight

Do you think their altitude measurement sensing is accurate?
Could it's accelerometer detect very gradual movement with accuracy?

@ with these sorts of devices, IMUs, accelerometers, gyros, magnetometers, etc, it is always a constant battle with the signal to noise ratio of the device and environment - the signal isn’t absolute, it can drift, and errors can accumulate so that it might start off accurate-ish but within a short space of time it might have such an accumulated error that it thinks it is somewhere else, unless the signal processing is good and takes care of cumulative noise and error - but, devices like this are designed for AR or mobile devices, like your phone for example, and those are quite good

@@IanTindale so, basically the more the money spent.. the more accuracy eh.
So I guess, the best gyroscopes must be in iphones and 3d scanner lidar devices eh.
Cuz they likely have to be more precise and noise/drift free than any other devices..
Kind of a bummer, though still awesome that it even exists!
      Thank you for your input.
      You're very insightful.

thank you! How can the MPU6050 or BMP160 measure the distance between two points on the same axis?

Thank you, very helpful. One question, why not using a complimentary filter to calculate angles based on accelerometer and gyroscope readings?

This is just an introduction and comparision video. If i start using Kalman filter to remove drift, the video explanation parts gets too long.
I have done sensor fusion and Kalman filter implementation in one of my previous videos related to MPU6050. You can watch that and may be try.

@HowtoElectronics Yes, I just checked it, thank you. I was just wondering. Probably, I'll be implementing the madgwick filter to estimate the quaternions orientation as well to avoid the gimbal lock.
