thanks, im buying the Hyperx 3 instead, I was up for the Logitech because they are cheaper AND Mic was awesome, but tried to wear both in store, the hyperx is lighter and was more comfortable on my head, and in your test the mic actually sounds better also on the hyperx
The hyper x cloud 3 has an amazing mic for its price class and I agree there very comfortable my biggest gripe with the g pro x is the comfort and I don't personally care for the mic either but it is servicable and is customizable but now the cloud 3 is also customizable
I had the logitech ones and they went out so i bought the hypercloud 2. They both are really good i dont feel like the wieght difference is that bad they both are on the same level of comfort and sound in my opinion
I've just bought the Hyper X Cloud III wireless and the sound is amazing, nothing boosted and overwhelmed. Build quality and comfort is the key of buying them. Mic is just okay for most of the scenarios, otherwise go for streaming mic.
Hey bro quick question i have a cloud 3 recently bought and the sound is low on my ps5 do you think the headphones are just a low volume type or there is a problem?
The volume shouldn't be quite my model was actually overwhelmingly loud. If your using wireless check the PS5 audio settings in the quick menu then check the volume on the headset. If it's wired check if the wire is in all the way and also still check the quick menu on PS5. It should be very loud headset.
I used the HyperX Cloud II 2017 until now, so I just bought the G Pro X and its actually amazing, the uprice for Wireless is 150% (expensive) but I am looking forward to use it for many years. My downsights are: Its a bit heavier, but not a big problem for me. And the software is really nice, but optional I sometimes had the feeling of "its way too much sound" but i got it fixed by using DTS:X, sounds better in my opinion I also had the chance to test the cloud 3 and it also wasnt bad, but the sound quality of the G Pro X is better in my opinion. But the price of the cloud 3 is way better. Both headsets are good, i think you cant make a bad choice here
I would probably lean you more towards the cloud 3 because they have a better sound range and has great low end without ruining the top end which makes the world's of single player games breath a bit better. I also think there a bit more detailed.
The wireless ones have a signal processing chip and they are wireless but sound wise there not wildly different but some say the wireless sound slightly different. I've not used the wireless version I'm only repeating what I've heard.
Really good video, helped me see clearer to choose from. However, my only problem with the Hyper X Cloud III is that I really don't like the show style of it. I had a Hyper X Cloud II for a few years and I wanted to change for a new headphone so I saw the Logitech G Pro X and I thought it was a good choice, but with your video, I can't help but think it might be a bad investment ? Do you think the audio quality is better on the Logitech G Pro X than on the Hyper X Cloud II ? And also, do the Logitech G Pro X have the same kind of 7.1 surround sound as the Hyper X Cloud II ? I can't find the information on if yes it has the 7.1 or if you need the software to activate it, i'm kinda lost !
You need software to activate the 7.1 on the g pro x on PC and also can't use it on console at all. And the sound quality is up to preference I think that the cloud 3 are a bit more neutral sounding. And I like the cloud 3 a bit better but the g pro x has much more bass. Also jsyk the cloud 3 can't use 7.1 without software either.
@@IAmVehement OK I see, and the 7.1 is as good as in other headphone ? Because I've seen some people saying that because it's with the software and not like built up in the headphone or something, then the quality is not as good as it could (but maybe I didn't understand that part because I'm french and not a pro so it's kind hard lmao)
Great video, I need to buy a new pair of headphones together with the laptop I just bought (lenovo legion 5 pro 8 gen with an rtx 4070 in case anyone’s curious) and I’m torn between these two. After watching several videos it feels like I really can’t go wrong with either, both have a lot of upsides and very few downsides, I don’t think there’s a clear winner here. However the fact that the logitech were released much longer ago inclines me towards the hyperx a bit more. Any thoughts?
Is the cable of the Cloud III removable? Google didnt help me with that question which is a bad sign. Cause fixed cables are an absolute no-go on a headset for me. Sooner or later they break and then a perfectly working headset becomes junk.
Hey man, I’m actually super confused and I can’t seem to figure out what’s the best. I’m in search of a pair of headphones for both gaming and drumming on my edrums and based off all the research I’ve done, the cloud 2 and g pro x are considered the best budget headphones. Which one would you suggest for both gaming and music?
Logitech G pro x. Sound great. Got better software. Built better. Unless you use the mic alot then I would say the cloud 3 due to a much better mic. But if you play fps games I really think the g pro x work better in a competitive setting
Me personally i bought the logitech and its amazing i can hear every footstepps and when it comes to music its the best one i have ever had and the mic quality is really good
I'm thinking about buying Cloud 3, but i heard that they are actually worse than Cloud 2? Is the difference really that big when it comes to overall sound as well when it comes to compepetive sounds like in CS2 and other games like those?
I personally stopped recommending the cloud 3 over the cloud 2 after a lot of talking with other people. I personally love the sound of the cloud 3 but I can admit that for competitive fps games the cloud 2 are better and MOST people seem to prefer the cloud 2 over the cloud 3 so I lead people more towards the cloud 2 ignoring my own feelings.
I was really thinking about them, but now idk. Probably i will just buy and test it comparing to cloud 2 and if it will be not to my liking i will just turn it back. It's really weird becuase i thought i can blindly buy it and it willbe similar or even better, but after watching different videos it's really weird seeing different opinions and some problems with it when people say cloud 2 were better.
