I started with a 2011 Cascadia with DD15 started with 400k it now has 1.4Million on it never had major work done to it only starter once and in Feb this year the original air compressor blew it lasted over 1million miles, solid truck man! Late last year bought a Pete 389 with a Cummins cm2350 man nothing but troubles for me and my Cascadia got me out this mess my Pete got me into. Any who DD15 is a solid platform!
Bro idk why the Pete’s and kenworths always fuck up it’s so annoying , Volvos and freightshakers just keep going while Pete’s are sleeping at the mechanic
Just got back today w/my 2011 Cascadia, DD13, 10 sp, 1.1 mill so far and still no real trouble, just the typical nickle-dimeing but I'll be ready to part w/it when it really starts dollaring me which I've been expecting for the last 200,000 however it's still ticking along strong . A friend is ahead of me w/the same set up and 1.4 mill on his. I've been looking for a '17 T660 for over a yr for the future replacement but Bo Bo's economy has absolutely all things priced over the top so.... still watching and waiting. I don't post often but I watch everything you put out, these are good video's and always helpful in some way even when you were on the rd.
Wow congrats on the million miles that's impressive, quick question are you running a APU at night or idling your rig? I'm at 600,000 now on my 2015 DD15. I run my APU to avoid unburn fuel and less maintenance on my DPF/EGR
@@mighty3552 I've never put an APU on it, wish I had but now I'm not as concerned about it at this stage of the game. It's been a great tank and who knows how much better it would've been, but you're doing it the best way for sure.
Thank you! 😄. I was working on setting up my tool shop that day. Wife grabbed me and asked me to make video about Freightliner Cascadia! Yes, it is always good to get info from someone who works on these trucks. 😄
Good video thanks. I was thinking to get one for me, but I took your previous advice and got KW t680 new gen with x15, 13 speed. I know it's more expensive, but I look for the long run. Thanks again for your work!
Thank you for making this channel it’s been really helpful. What is your take on the CPC on Freightliner’s going out? I’ve been hearing a lot truckers are not able to get these CPC’s very easy. Should that be a concern if I’m looking to invest in Freightliner? Is it best to look for a Freightliner with a Cummins?
What is in peterbilt over kenworth that they are more expensive, they run on the same parts, have same quality of build, are they not? Do you pay for a badge and that's it?
You mentioned the pricing between Kenworth and Peterbilt. Maybe you could explain what makes them different, even though it’s the same company. Thank you
Got a w900 with a cat on it. Believe it or not the cascadia has grown on me. Im just scared of the dd motor heard i should stick with a dd15 not a 13. All my buddies have had nothing but good things to say about their dd15s.
Hello Ryan, what types of issues should I expect with 800K miles on 2019 Freightliner T12664ST? What are common cost of repair such as if in-frame overhaul is needed? Your channel is much appreciated .
Hey Tom, I'm a foreman at a freightliner dealership in canada. usually the cost for inframe varies greatly best bet is to get a quote from a dealership for the parts then it's around 45 to 55 hours depending on what you want to do. If you go to Detroit website you can see the levels of unframed called step ups and make your decision from there. 28,000 all the way to 48,000 is typically what we see.
Thank you Amur very much for this restricted and clear explanation and I hope your success in your business . I am a new subscriber to your channel. I would like to ask if the channel content includes lessons in the process of diagnosis, programming, discovering frequent faults codes in heavy trucks, and other electronic matters in different trucks.. Thanks again
We have a few videos show the diagnostic and troubleshooting process. Not many. But we are planning to do more videos with live troubleshooting and code reading. Hopefully it will be helpful for you!

Which do you think is the best truck for automatic transmissions a lot of new drivers have automatic restrictions and as a fleet owner in order to keep drivers on board it’s beneficial to have automatic transmission trucks ?
More likely it's going to be Freightliner cascadia considering that's the brand all the major company usually go with because of the cheaper maintenance
Long term would be kw t680 for low cost, short term. Volvo or freightliner cascadia. If you go with kw, avoid paccar packages. Get cummins engine eaton transmission. Paccar engines and transmissions have tons of electronics and sensor issues.
@@kingpintransportation7045 As an involuntary 2019 Paccar engine owner, I can tell you Bendigo sure as shit knows what he's talking about. NEVER buy a truck with a Paccar motor in it.
I'm currently driving a 2020 with poor build quality..when ever there's a hard rain it pours water from the over head console u would think it's hooked up to a water hydrogen!
On the positive side: they have a lot of creature comfort for the drivers for when they are waiting for the tow truck. On the negative side, they spend a LOT of time waiting for a tow truck....
Cpc is not the problem anymore. They figured out what's going bad inside. It's fixable 1.5 week turnaround. You have to coughing up $2500 and you r on the road again.

The Cascadia is like the Palmetto State of Trucks. It’s like the McDouble of Cheeseburgers, it may not be what you want, but it fills that void.
Great content Ryan 👍

Do a pete 379 cat 6nz

It's just more parts to go wrong. A good driver in manual can get a million out of a clutch. An auto won't!
