I finally got my Pixel 8 into its OtterBox, and this is exactly how you do it. I thought it was different but it's not. It's exactly the same. That's probably why they didn't do a new video for the 8.
Just bought one of these to replace my old otter box. Dropped the old one a million and one times on different hard surfaces and pieces eventually started to come off of the poor thing 😅 But my phone remained completely unharmed, confirming just how effective these cases are! I was excited to get this one in the mail and I love the clip that comes with it! Super helpful when I don’t have any pockets! No way I would’ve been able to figure out how to get my phone in it without this vid though lol

Somehow got my phone in and out of the case with the case as one piece. Really hope I didn’t damage my phone but I’m glad I found this tutorial moving forward.

The OtterBox on my Iphone 7 was great! Now on the Iphone 14 pro its not very good to hold and it dont even have screen protection. A big disappointment for me.
Rubber plastic boot interferes with charger plug. The rubber cover on the charge port will fall off pretty quick. Still the best case I have used but these issues need to be addressed conSidering how much these cost.
After I saw your comment I tried to just pop the phone in and it worked. My case for my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, doesn't peel at all. In the video he just smoothly took the outer layer off. Nothing at all would budge on mine. It's in now as I type this.

Why are there no instructions in the box? This video helped but the thin shell top broke during install. Think it will be ok with the slip cover covering it but come on put some directions in the box.
Agree with all the other comment here. The so-called instructions in the box were utterly insufficient for the installation of my Defender case. Without this video I would have had zero idea what to do. Lift your damn game, Otterbox! 🤬
this place is a JOKE, I used my warranty for the case because it was crack on the plastic edges. So I made a claim for a replacement, this was the second one I ever turned in for warranty. The first one I turned in, no problems it was an even exchange. The last case , they wanted picture, I sent them in. Next they didn't believe me so they wanted pictures with my info on a blank piece of paper with the cases being displayed on the blank sheet of paper. Then after waiting couple weeks, I get an Email say My case has been pulled for "AUDIT" MEANING now I have to send in the case before I received my warranty case. So I wrote them back saying within the days I send it in. "I'm not gonna have anything protecting my phone what if it breaks within that time period".I asked them to send it first that why I left with no case. They said if I want a warranty replacement, I had to send in the old one. I sent in the old case and within the time of me waiting for the new case. I Cracked my phone both sides. Thanks Otterbox team, I told you it was gonna happen but you didn't care and sent me on my way! Great customer service!

I cannot get the outer silicone layer off to save my life. Can't pop, slide, twist, peel it off. Can't get my phone in it either. Useless!

the case part did not fit the phone but the rubber part did.... even though the model number was the same.

Where is the protection for the screen? If the phone gets dropped there is nothing to protect the front screen.

They just need to place a QR code to this video on their installation guide. Cause honestly, the basic guide is useless on the index card.
I tried forcing it at first. Oops. I had an older Otterbox that you could do that with. It wasn't a Defender. This one is very rigid.
Someone I know has one of these cases and drop this phone and it's still broke that's all just a selling point even mouse case sucks
