Us army veteran born in Maine and lived 1/2 my adult years in Texas and other half Arizona. I feel like this is a episode of the twilight zone. Plandemic yet now we’re letting people from everywhere in with no screening or health screening or vaccination. Measles, polio legionnaires disease, typhus tuberculosis. These are all back on our country Shores as a result of this human mass trafficking event. We already have millions of Americans on the streets who need physical and mental health services. While we got another couple trillion in debt sending it to other countries and giving law breakers aka invaders a free ride.

What I never, ever hear in these discussions are concerns and compassion for poor Americans. Our broken schools, our broken healthcare, our broken social services, our working poor falling further and further behind. We pretend that taking in the world’s poorest and worst will have no impact. We pretend our government has the best interest of our citizens in mind. We pretend these problems with drugs, human trafficking, unaffordable housing, care for our veterans are without consequences. We pretend…

I am and "independent/liberal" voter. I am all for a strict control of the border. There are a lot of democrats who want to secured border and strict vetting of refugees, etc, but they are afraid to speaking up. But we do support your work and efforts, even if the media doesn't talk about it.

I would like to hear what Andy has to say about a poor person who is just entering Andy's house at 2am for some food. Hopefully he wouldnt do harm to anyone that was just simply coming into his locked house for some food. They wouldn't be hurting his daughter or wife or even him (nope no way). They just want food. I mean where would you have be coming from in your head Andy to think about hurting a person like that?...

I don't advocate shooting people on site or for evading arrest. even though the local state law enforcement. has a bad reputation for using deadly force for evading arrest. and or resisting. And that being said, Andy, what do you think about what happened to the people on Jan. 6th? Did ASHLEY BABBET deserve to be killed by law enforcement?

my worries are looking like certain countries in europe, where illegal people commit crimes. and our politicians do nothing about it. its happening right now . and its only going to get worst before it gets better. by the time these people go to court to see if they have a case. if they even go in to court. i don’t see a real solution to this except mass deportation. we already have people here that need help.

Walls have doors or gates, the wall keeps folks from just coming through and the door/gate serves to let those in in a proper way. One thing that sets us apart, or at least used to, is rule of law. So, if you want to be welcomed, respect our laws and knock on the door/gate, don’t break through the wall. I’m a first generation American, my family lost everything in the Soviet Union, not just homes, but factories as well. They lived in DP camps for years before being granted to right to come here. They did not get government aid, they had brief private sponsorship, and ended up working to support the family once they came here. I retired from the Army after serving in Bosnia and Iraq, having worked in Civil Affairs when there, so I’m familiar with broken countries and systems and what can be done in improving situations. How the military-civilian interface can work, and what the role of government needs to be to secure the border and keep the rule of law intact.

I think both political parties are trying to keep us separated... look over here not here... i live in texas and I am conservative . The illegal immigration is only the tip of the iceberg.

I agree with immigration but, my question is, how much is enough? Everyone that immigrates here should be thoroughly vetted. Do we allow 1,000, 10,000, 100, 000 a year? At what point do we cap our population? American citizens are having babies daily. Legal immigrants are having children. On and on it goes. When is enough enough?

Need to have an easier way for people to immigrate legally who:
    1. Speak English at a functional level
    2. Provide a skill/labor, etc. that will benefit U.S.
    3. Not go on welfare or take public benefit
    4. Immunizations, etc. up to date to U.S. standard
    5. Have workable guest worker program
    End chain migration
No Amnesty--to become a citizen must return to home country and re-enter U.S. legally. However, pathway to legal residence (no citizenship, no voting etc. if no criminal record, no tax fraud, no employment fraud)
Asylum for actual political persecution only---no asylum for economic refugees
    Fortify border
End Birthright Citizenship for children born to parents not in legal status
Cut off foreign for all countries who facilitate illegal immigration pipeline (Ecuador, Columbia, all of Central America and Mexico)--expel diplomats if they don't comply

I get it that a lot want to come in hopes of a better life but that’s not what asylum is for, why abandon your country stand up and make it better, what if we abandoned America many years ago because it was too much trouble or too much work? Because right now although I feel for them in a way it’s destroying and breaking our country, and people being pissed comes because our government has failed us and people are sick of it when they are struggling and these people are being given free room and board, food, and money.
